Couple of Newb Questions

I was curious about a few things:

First- is there any sort of storage area? I have some random weapons that I like just for the skins or things they do, but want more inventory room for lewtz. Damn MMO's have brainwashed me. :P So. Yeah... Anything?

Second- What is the maximum inventory space obtainable in game?

Third- I notice that the game has weapon 'quality' colors like most generic MMOs. Does this mean that the game also has 'weapon levels'? I only ask, because I've been using the same sniper rifle since near the beginning of the game and so far it still gets one-shot headshots most of the time (I'm still on the first island...).

Do weapon levels even matter, and does the game get harder?

There were a couple other things, but I can't quite recall. Damn work and all.

Any tips or answers would be appreciated!

Hey SiN, no storage areas.

Not sure what the max is for inventory but I've heard that people have had at least 180....but they used bits to buy a lot too.

The colors denote the "rarity" and have additional rolls as they go up. The order is W, G, B, P and O. The guns basically have the same stats but for rarity you get little "extra" things.

The level of the weapon really just restricts use....if I were to give you a weapon that is a higher level than your EGO....you couldn't use it. Harder....not really, the solo "bosses" that you fight aren't hard if you know what to do.

Tips: Don't rush through the game and above all else have fun. Meet people and play with them....makes it more fun.

No storage space, I'm afraid...

Inventory slots increase with your ego level progression but you can buy extra from the 'bit store'. I'm ego level 4200ish & haven't bought any extra slots and I have 66 available.

A good white gun does as much damage as an orange gun for base damage but you get (Supposedly) better bonuses/rolls with better quality weapons but it's not always the case as some of the bonuses are terrible...

The weapon quality goes like this - White, Green, Blue, Purple, Orange...Orange are considered Legendary but I wouldn't swap my Purple Assault Rifle for any Orange I've seen so far.

Unfortunately the game doesn't get much harder...You will come across Dark Matter enemies across on the other island and the final boss fight can be a bit challenging but other than that, not much more in the way of difficulty levels...

Sieges & Arkfalls are fun to do but can get very laggy when there's a lot of people running around...

That's pretty much it...Anything else you wanna know just pop it in this thread & I'll keep checking back.

Hi! Thanks for posting these questions, I will try to give you answers....

1) Storage spaces...... Nope, just your inventory. Its even difficult, since there is no mail system , to even use an Alt char for storage.

2) Maximum Inventory?..... I have 161 inventory and I have seen a screen shot of someone with just over 800 inventory! So I believe its just how much do you want to buy beyond your what your ego lvl gives you in game. As you lvl your ego up, at certain intervals you gain small extra inventory spaces but the total is not a lot.

3) Weapon lvl's? ...... Yes, if you look on your stats page, press "I", then click the stat icon at top of page, < looks like a music mixer graph > and scroll down you will see what lvl you are in each of your weapon types. Goes up to 20 and each lvl gives you small additions of stats while using that weapon type. Your weapon you are using must be able to get EXP to be working twords your weapon lvl's. If your weapon is Maxed you will either have to reset its mastery via your salvage matrix or get a new weapon of that type that isnt maxed out.
This all being said, your weapon lvl really only helps improve your use of that weapon type some, a fresh new player using a white weapon has the same Base damage as all other of the same weapons, despite ego or color. The better the color = the more "Bonus" stats the weapon may have on it.
The actual weapons themselves do not LvL, they just earn EXP till they Max out, at which reset the mastery or replace the weapon. Keep weapons you like to use and reset them often as you lvl your weapon skill up.

4) Game Hardness ...... Some, like the Volge. Nothing in the game is really super hard, IMHO. Everything just takes practice with weapons you like to use, to become good at using them enough, to make the encounters, even the Vulge, not difficult.

Not too bad at all thanks. Just grinding the ego up as much as I can but I've not touched any PVP at all yet...I still like playing after all this time but we've got a copy of GTA V in the house so I'm splitting the time between both games at the moment.

I'll probably be playing this 'til they shut down the servers, to be honest. I find it a lot of fun and it's good to see an influx of new players around...

Yeah, I play any time my "adult responsibilities" allow me too. I've been working on my pursuits....little by little, but really not looking forward to PVP, I've only played like 3 matches.....and they were not that fun. Eventually I will just grind through it. I will also be playing until they shut the servers down....it is nice to have new people and I'm always happy to help them out.

SiN... also enter the ark codes to your account. I think it is like 100+ that you enter and they give you rewards.
Some are weapons and what have you, others are inventory slots.
I did this before spending bits on more additional spaces.

Good point Flank...I totally forgot about them. I entered mine before I even started playing.....was a BIG help.
