Still patching?!

Hello everyone, i've seen a few people with the same issue but no one seems to have posted a solution yet.
I've been on the game since 10 mins before the server launch and its been updating since, i got my game a few days early and installed the 5gb's of patches when the game arrived.
Every time i load up the game it wants to install (takes about 50 seconds) then it tries to patch 4 or 5 time before finding something new to download, no error messages or nothing, just constant downloading, lent my brother the disk when it arrived so he could install the updates as our internet is extreamly slow, he bought the game a few moments ago and is already playing. deleted the updates and re-installed, same problems.
Does anyone have any ideas?

I'm on a 20Mb line and getting 0.09-0.10mbs for the patch at present (XBox 360). ETA 1hr 35m till it's done. I expect it would normally be faster but if the patching server isn't currently being hammered then my name's Lucy.

Update @ 14:49 PM: I left the patch downloading as I went out to buy some size 9 Wellie boots (off to Wales tomorrow) and it has just finished the first patch. Now starting the second little patch.

Update @ 14:51 PM ffs not even time enough to make a coffee, I might start a thread complaining how quickly it downloaded, 2nd patch completed. Now starting the 3rd rather large patch, back in a few hours.

Update @ 15:07 PM client says 21m 48s to go, so unless it suddenly jumps from 0.10mbs to something more speedy I got time to make a coffee. One lump or two?

Update @ 15:16 PM client says 12m 19s to go. I nuked some sausage rolls in the microwave to go with my coffee, so it's all good.

Update @ 15:23 PM client says 5m 52s to go, the coffee has kicked in, and I'm not excited at all.

One of those statements is a lie.

Update @ 15:29 PM third patch complete! Starting a little 4th patch now, 2m 48s to go. Still have some coffee left, so making good use of it.

Update @ 15:32 PM fourth patch complete, cleanup done, verifying done, now the client is 'Optimising', I'm guessing that has something to do with removing all the PC control references and swapping them for XBox 360 ones. Or adding graphics. Or something. 1m 56s to go!

My Bad. The slow speeds hold a rather large portion of the forums at the moment, I'm only getting about 0.12 MB/s on average. I expect it will speed up as people get past the patcher and into the game.

ive been patching since 9:15am UKtime and its still not finished. this is an absoloute joke. the beta downloaded and workked fine, yet full game nothing but issues, RESTART the servers or something coz this is ridiculous

No posts since 2:35PM so I assume the whining has ended and the playing has commenced!? Only joking (slightly) but fortunately I have been at work so had no chance to play but I will be home by 7PMish so hopefully most of these connection problems will have resolved themselves i.e. the impatient and entitled have been sated like a stressed out bussinessman at a cat house! :-)

I have 100mb/s download with fiber optic line and im dl'ing at .35 ,mb/s . this is ******ed, 8 hours remaining, what the **** was the point of the updating the game a week in advance if that update isnt even a complete version
