You just need to be patient. It's a lot of traffic on launch day, the servers will just be over run with people all trying to get on at once. Go do something else while you wait.

Just because people can't get on doesnt mean theres not heavy traffic. Over 8 hours? funny that, the servers were only supposed to be on 3 hours ago. It's not the games fault you decided to stay up all night. Every MMO that i've played has this problem on launch day. GW2 was the worst but hey it happens.

Just wish they would let us know the crack.

Some friends of mine that have the game did this to make it work : delete and download again . I would like to know if someone tried deleting the profile and redownloading it. That worked for me to get access in the beta.

This is the actual workaround I think you're referring to. Would also like to know if it works for anyone (still waiting for my copy to turn up in the post)

UPDATE Gamers who have attempted the fix below report that it doesn't work with the full client

Before you follow these steps... Make sure you remember your Xbox Live account login details.

Step #1: Delete your current Xbox profile
- Settings -> System -> Storage -> Hard Drive -> Profiles -> Select Profile -> Delete

Only Select the option for 'Delete Profile Only'

Step #2: Now select your Xbox Home Button (middle of controller) and select Sign-In and Download your profile.

Step #3: Once that is complete launch the game!
