Patching problem!!

Recently, I had bought Defiance on steam. Downloaded it. And is happy to play it but here i reached the patching stuff my download was high for 1 sec and then it dropped to 0.05mb.. why? Is there a fix? If there is not then i guess i wasted my money in it.. and it sucks

I always turn off all other wifi devices & connect thru ethernet cable when patching.

Where you downloading through steam or downloaded the game from trion? Steam quite often seemed to have dl issues.
While downloading the client from trion directly worked perfectly fine.
I do think its an Steam issue.

I havent had any patching speed issues infact..
Granted this is an older screenshot, I didnt bother to take another, but the patching speeds have been simulair.

Yes, It is from steam hence my download speed is 0.60~ 0.75 mbps but the max download speed i had always had is 250kb is it the same? Or it is just that the patch file is big? can i manual download it?
