Personally id like to see the addition of world events like the proportions of some that Rift has done in the past
you could have armor sets or alt weapon / or transport colours and there are enough ideas to sit easy within the confines of the show / game

new areas like a spirit walkers camp and new quests something that doesnt have to run along side the show and that opens up the motorcycles even as a rep idea

scavenger hunts that only reward 20 people does not sit well with me same as the competions that are U,S exclusive timezones are already a ***** to deal with

maybe bring back the episodic missions for people that missed them even though they have only been removed recently more story is more story

maybe duel person arenas or instances 4 can be a pain to get let alone 8 or more for the instanced arkfalls

I posted the original thread on the Volge Fortress, but I take no credit for the basic idea. It was just gleaned from many other games that I have played through the years. My main point was that it could be done with very little coding, as Trion Worlds is functioning with a small crew nowadays. I play on Xbox, but if the fortress idea was implemented, it could released for the PC first to avoid the delays inherent in Sony and Micro$oft.

I also believe that players would enjoy playing as a Volge. Why not offer a Shadow War where the first players entering could choose to play as a Volge Trooper, etc. You could use one loadout slot for the Volge stuff, no EGO and no perks, as the Volge seem to have a bunch of those already. A player could progress to an Elite Volge Trooper, then a Bomber, Elite Bomber, Viscera, and, finally, the Elite Viscera.

Personally, it would be a real kick to blast away at the annoying Ark Hunters as a Volge. Again, I can't see that the coding would be a problem, as all of the models, activities, weapons, movements, etc. have been coded already. They could just be transferred to the players' control.

My focus on these ideas is to offer something that would be fun and very easy to do quickly. Here in the Austin area there are a lot of software companies, and I have a few friends that do work in character modeling, level design, and general testing, and QA. I get feedback from them on what is easy to do, and what would require a lot of coding and game overhaul, as well as an extended testing schedule.

My thoughts are to go for the easy stuff that would also be fun to play. This is an attempt to keep the veteran players around, because many seem to have just given up in boredom and frustration. This game is snake bitten for sure, but it has a lot of unrealized potential.

I hope Trion Worlds can assign a few folks to assess some of the great ideas I see on this forum.

Look, these are good ideas and if they have good enough potential and are easy enough to code and/or implement, We could see them in-game.
Like 97 said, Defiance has great potential and We as a community can partner with Trion to at least TRY and make Defiance a better gaming experience by giving them ideas.

It was brought up, that the community would like something to do as a whole. In response Dahanese requested that we send her some ideas of what we might like to do.

This is a total waste of time, there are many great event ideas in many of the past suggestion threads, they even made a google (was a bad idea, ended up with thousands of ideas and no one wants to sort through that) thing.

Even you get some kind of response, the most likely scenario is that whatever you ask for, the opposite will happen.

there was a guy in another thread who said about having playrs attack a volge "fortress" or an area probably like the 99ers depot full of volge which sounds like alot of fun snd if u scale it up in terms of area and volume could include most of us good ol defiance lovers
