Existing weapons need to change too!!!!!!!!

well poo... this may well be my straw...
shame as brought the game full price, brought DLC on day of release, even brought massively overpriced outfits do that my casti chic looked all white... and now i find there is little worth playing for after 4000 ego... my current orange weapons become effectively the same as purple ones after the extra common rolls come in... and now if i actually pull an orange between now an whenever this gets implemented... it wont be as good / or not gimped as if id pulled it afterwards ... real shame but I just dont se any love from trion for existing players... so it looks like other people on eu x360 servers wont have to worry about seri coming top of most seiges she gets to...

this really bums me out but i do think im going to have to take some time to think if i want to invest any more time and money into this game...

I'm honestly considering the same thing. Those on NA PC know who I am and I have a very active trading circle, and TRADING PAGE (in my sig). I am very involved in the game's market and hold value to the way the weapon trading works. I've put over 1400 hours in the game since Day 1 launch and I am now literally considering finding a new addiction to lose sleep over.

I have been penalized MORE since the launch of this game than rewarded, or even appreciated. There's just no way I can invest any more money into this machine anymore. I would actually feel like an idiot if I did. I keep playing, they keep making decisions to penalize us veteran and "originally supporting" players. Really? I have literally spent months playing this game every, single day to get what I have earned right now.

What else do us 5k EGO players have to do anymore? So we farm.... and grind..... and farm.... and open.... and nothing.... repeat.... then a crap orange w/ melee stats and self revive (but an orange nonetheless!!!).... repeat.... check mod vendors.... farm... open..... nothing...... repeat. Wait.... what am I playing for again? Farm...... grind..... open.....nothing..... repeat.

Now you want us to do it all over again and want us to "sell or scrap, its easy to get rid of. Thats what these are there for"??? Are you kidding me? Yeah im a little intense about this, but can you grasp that concept that we have to accept if you dont do anything about this? Stop.... please stop.... penalizing us veteran and high EGO players. Please.

Fix the senseless stats like self-revive recharge, 200% melee etc, 3% ammo on self revive etc etc. Replace them with something else..... like you are doing with the grenade changes!

Not sure y it's been said that current weapons won't b changed . If that's the case I would like my saw returned to its previous stats and canker as well and I would just love my 22 shot vot fragger back ..... Seems u made exceptions to current weapons for that

I won't be playing any more if they don't fix the weapons we have right now, I've played since day 1 and I'm feeling very disappointed.. Spent hours and hours playing and we get treated like this.. No more micro transactions from me... Xbox 360 can be shelf'd for the xbox one with no regrets unless they help us veterans.

They are altering the grenade stats... They alter the damage stats in weapons... Alter mods... Why say it can't be done on other stats like 3% and melee and self revive... Mag and fire rate on sawn off shotguns and single mag rocket launchers.... I pulled a double fire rate rocket orange that only held one in the clip... Seriously !

Think this might be farewell trion.

They could just let use trade in our current weapons at a vendor with similar weapons. I.E. place a pistol trade vendor near the pistol mod vendor in Crater (or was it Demon Ranch). You place one weapon into the vendor and get one credit in return, that way you could choose which of the new weapons you want, and all the old broke *** weapons get turned to nothing, and weapons not broken wouldn't somehow get glitched because some developer somewhere put a : instead of a 0 in the code.

Please note, the weapon trade in vendor does not take script, you cannot buy a new weapon on these vendors, just do trade-ins.

If they are not going to change the crap rolls or add common bonuses to weapons earned pre-patch, then why should I bother playing from now until they release the DLC?

Since I finished the quest and most pursuits, I mostly spend my time grinding keys for lockboxes and trading. So now, 90% of any weapon I earn from now until the DLC hits, will be practically worthless after the DLC comes out.

No reason not to do it with ANY weapon that has a crap roll as listed on the 'Crap Roll Approved for Destruction' trade-in list.

I'm sure there are people that like those rolls on some weapons. Let them keep them as they see fit. Let those of us who don't want a '1.10 fire rate' or '1.05 mag' on a Bonfire, Sawed-off or Ground Pounder <et al> dump the poorly-planned crap without losing a useful weapon we want.

There are those who say we should just get another version of the same weapon in game as a normal pick-up item when it comes up:

** I have the weapon in question now. Some weapons dont seem to drop for some people. I should wait weeks for a weapon I have already, when it's the dev team that dropped the ball the first time around?

** I already have a weapon at a lower E-#. I might want it replaced with a weapon of similar E-# specifically so I CAN pass it down to a clannie or alt-'toon, and I can't really do that when an E-45XX weapon replaces an E-2K weapon I've been holding on to.

They won't do the vender idea, it takes a lot of programming any testing, money and labour... If your going to get a good conclusion to this, it will be to just swap out crap rolls for somthing better at most. They won't put more time and money into making a new direction for this game... The Go ahead process for the vender idea would take to long. Be serious people.
