Have you tried using different presets? I use this one and it really makes a difference.

LunaticWoda have you ever written a sweet fx preset before? Your cartoon is at max creating jaggies everywhere your HD res settings are too high which is why your brightness is too much and it creates like a solar glare. Amongst other things... I'm working on writing a second HD preset but I'm taking a break to actually play the game more. Lunatic if you haven't yet try my preset your going wayy to bright and jaggy.

I was holding off on posting about Sweetfx anymore until the first week after launch but seeing as some people were anxious to jump the gun I'll post as of now.

This is my sweetfx boost i wrote it last night after launch if you want to be blown away feel free to use my custom HD preset.

I wrote this preset due to liking the game enough that i felt it worth my time to give back to those who also wanted the most out of their game experience.

Hope everyone loves the boost as much as i do.

The install directory for Sweetfx is C:/users/username/Appdata/Local/Defiance/Live

Or wherever you installed the game in the live folder in its install directory.

sweetfx must be in the live folder for defiance to interact with Directx when in game.

also the preset must be named "SweetFX_settings" and the toggle for in game should be SCROLL_LOCK.

Lastly to clarify sweetfx does not add textures it just boosts effects in directx to enhance whats already there so no this does not modify any game client files or give any ingame advantage other than eyecandy.. and the inherent "WOW" factor and occasional ****** for those who love higher graphics...

Hi. Thanks for the preset and i really enjoy sweetfx, however my ingame differents are really small and even tho i see some improvements i can't really see that huge of a differents. Is there a way for me to manually make the colours stronger or to make "More" of everything you have done in your preset?
