I pmed Sledge to make an official post when he has time but the community really seems to like the difference this program makes in the game quality. The devs have stated as long as its not a hack that gives an advantage they don't mind and will be looking at things like this program to see if its allowable. as of now this thread has 9,575 views 181 posts and its still here and tagged. So I don't see it being a major problem with them. Also it doesn't mod the game client it injects the dx9.dll with updated shader settings that's all. So unless they rewrite their TOS to wipe away a program that makes their product look way better which both would be pointless in this case ntm bad business and would anger alot of pc gamers I think personally their ok with it. Aslong as its legit and not game changing in a bad way.

Bump your gamma up to 5 might help your eyes abit.

I have been following this thread for a bit and wanted to say thanks, i never know sweetfx even existed.
and a big thank you to Myrken your settings are fricken amazing man

However, like others have said I have tried both your settings and after a while my eyes feel strained, and i hit the scroll Lock and instantly feel relief haha
I have my gamma set to 5 I have even tried 5 1/2 and still seams like the dark's are way to dark.
the daytime in game is fine, but soon as nights come i have to hit the scroll lock
I dunno I will have to play with the settings but for some reason my brain keeps wanting em to hit the scroll lock to go back to default lol
different strokes for different folks I guess ..
still very amazing program I will definitely be trying it out in other games
also i wanted to add that it seams those settings give everything a rend tint to it .. i kinda feel like I'm on mars :P

In areas of the map there's a lot of red glow effects and during ark falls as well which in any setting annoys my eyes even no sweetfx the tint gets redic. Night gets really dark cause my setting simulates real life and in real life well night time is DARK. but the shadows plus the darkness make it really dark. At 5 bars gamma i haven't had any eyestrain but the lighting in my HD preset is different from HD boosted so that may be easier on some folks. Also im playing on a 72 inch screen space so shadows spread further and are less dark the HD boosted may be too much for those on smaller screens.

Myrken Think what I might do is go regrab all the sweet fx files and reset it all on all my games that use it, just to see if mine will work again with the dlls again inculded in the pack. will do that later do go prep work to do atm.

I apologize I've been posting here since launch and writing graphics presets and trying to play the game and not sleeping due to work and so yes my punctuation may be abit off because Ive been busting my *** helping people so I apologize again if my crazy run on nonsensical sentences with many the word AND and no commas is to difficult to navigate for you really i do Ill get back to you when punctuation is the major top priority on my list of things to fix.

Or maybe my bad punctuation was really a cleverly disguised trap, to lure the more intelligent women out who cant help but correct the nearest man on his punctuation. I like women who tell it straight.
