I have not downloaded anything else. I did exactly like in the post. Did i do something wrong then? I renamed the preset file to "SweetFX_settings" as well.

EDIT: I just deleted the other preset and installed yours. Same thing.

You also downloaded the v1.4 copy of sweetfx? installed all the files from it into your live folder in the defiance install directory And named my preset "SweetFX_Settings" with a capital "S" in settings. and overwrote the default sweetfx settings with it?

Maybe my screen is killing the colors or something? I am using a benq xl2420t

What ingame gamma are you using btw? Or does it matter?







EDIT:

Btw, there was no default " sweetfx settings" in the preset folder. Only 5 other presets for different games.

I deleted everything and redid the steps and now it works.. I think maybe i did something wrong with the settings. Anywho. Thanks alot.. A huge differents now

LOL BINGO! as I was saying if you cant see a difference there's something not right. Or your blind in which case video games probably aren't the best past time for you. Man that would suck right up there with losing your fingers and having to play with your toes... I might do that sometimes anyway

Oh and try gamma at 4- 4 1/2 bars.

You used the presets folder instead of overwriting the base settings file was what was outta whack.

Even people using the flyover look good in sweetfx...... that right there is how you clear a hellbug nest.

Here are new images from a sun set. It gives you that yellowish light you get from IRL as well (atleast close to it ). After playing with gamma a bit i find this to be perfect (for my eyes atleast). Thanks once more.

I am freaking loving it! Thanks Myrken! I chose to use the sweetfx config instead Now all we have to is wait till they release a HD pack and make it look even more awesome!

I wish I could have access to Contrast, Brightness and Gamma separately in game.. wish they had better texture filtering too. On the fence, just concerned about using it in an MMO.
