I would imagine the game will last as long as the show. Activity? Who knows? There's a loyal ( if small) fan base.
A better question would be;
"Is Kenya dead?" or "where the jek are the hulkers?"

When I first started playing in april I swear hulkers used to randomly roam around. I remember when me and a friend encountered one for the first time and was like what the f is that. Was just exploring but now i never see one apart from the one place it spawns that I know of.

I use to know of two places that the "Wandering Hulker" would spawn......haven't seen one in over a month. Maybe they do actually wander and I haven't come across them....but not likely that in a month I haven't come across one.

Will this game die.. When destiny is released? I don't want it to as I love this game and will get destiny and play both still, but cant help a feeling that numbers in defiance will be scarce

OK, so I read some posts and it basically comes down to this:

A. Fanboys who will say that Defiance IS better then Destiny. Well, time will tell, but my bets are on Destiny/Bungie,
B. Fans of Defiance who realise it will pose a problem for some console users, but that it won't kill this game,
C. Fans of Defiance who are just demoralised and only see the population dwindling, and will think it'll die.

I'd say im part of the B-fans. It's already been said, not everyone will switch to the new consoles, Destiny isn't available for PC and the game will always have a fanbase who will be playing while the TV-series are still running.

So to answer your question, no, I don't believe Destiny will "kill" Defiance. It will mostly depend on Trion's abilities:

When this game dies it won't have been another game that killed it...Defiance will have killed Defiance.

There is a lot of talk about bungie bringing it to pc too, not just consoles. I watched a video on a site I can't remember about destiny and they were saying they would love for it to be on pc. So probably bring it out on consoles first then pc at a later date.

This game is already dead because long term players have started to quit and new people wont join because they hear pvp is **** and requires you to have no balls in order to do good. Also known as running around with cloak all game with infectors, sawed offs and detonators. Legitamely I don't think I have been killed by anyone who wasn't cloaked or just a straight out ***** in a long time.

Some long term players are still here and new people DO join. Btw MOST of the people who play this game don't give a crap about PvP, so nice try.

You are mistaken. THey have NEVER been everywhere. There are only like 3 places they have ever spawned in the world, and one has become a moostly Volge location, one got screwed up by a Monarch instance, the third is the only one that I ever see a Hulker at on occassion.

PVP is a part of this game and you know, like the PVE, it can become a stale grind, so nice try.
