What bleeds my patience with this game are the seemingly-nonsensical decisions being made, like changes no one asked for to grenades, another new type of arkfall coming instead of something truly new and exciting, or 'boosting spikes'. I have not seen a single person excited for any of this. And yet we still have horrible, *horrible* weapon boosts and synergy combinations, crippling bugs, and broken interfaces.
The idea that there are an appropriate number of rare weapons being dropped is a flat-out lie, when the majority of those rare weapons being dropped have useless boosts or mismatched synergy sets. I understand that it may be difficult to implement a fix. But how difficult can it be to program the vendors to stop selling scavenger sniper mods?
We know future DLC is going to be far, far later than was stated (despite their dancing around it).
They need to just ignore the hopelessly-late DLC and channel every bit of resources they have into fixing everything that's wrong first. I can't help but feel all the more strongly about it since the next DLC isn't exciting to myself, or anyone I know, with exception for the new interface. And the very fact the the most exciting thing about a DLC is a fix for something that already exists is itself sad and telling.
