This. This simple and direct phrase right here is the first time I've ever felt any kind of reassurance that it might get better. Maybe I've missed it, but everything I've read and heard until now amounted to vague, indirect responses loaded with fluffy optimism.

It's not the blunt 'you know this game is jacked, we know this game is jacked, but trust that we are furiously trying to put out the fire while forging something better' that I would like. But at least it *does* directly acknowledge that they are trying to make progress on the problems, rather than 'we may look into this in the future', and other semi-meaningless corporate speak.

There may be two different teams that handle fixes vs. DLC. I still don't understand it as a reason for not channeling all their resources into the problems first, *particularly* if they are understaffed for either task. 'Because it's two different departments' sounds like nothing more than 'just because'.

I really, really want to see this game reach its full potential. I criticize because I care, believe it or not.

As for grenades, they should have never given us infinite ones. It makes more sense to have a finite grenade pool, to go with our finite ammo. That or make EVERYTHING infinite.
I understand the idea behind limitation like other games but this particular feature is built into how many perks, synergies, and bonuses that are on weapons/shields. If they didn't want this the nades "infinite" on a reload timer we would have equipped with one or two having different effects/damage/etc...

Changing this renders an *** ton of perks/shield/weapon synergies and bonuses useless now. I have not heard one person complain about nades. They could have fixed the 1.5 mag bonus that's been on shottys since launch that won't even get you an extra shell/the BMG mag increases/etc... They are wasting resources and time on this non-issue and that's what pisses me off.

Fix the lag in menus/disconnects/general bugs before you drastically alter the game and alienate even more of what's left of the day one players is all that I was getting at.

This ^. Get into it with people all the time because if you criticize or complain they think you hate and tell you to move on. Dealing with Socom in the past a fan base can get rabid and can be vocal but deep down they like or want to enjoy the product or else it would have been traded in already and forum bookmark deleted. Lol. I don't want this game to fail as I have a good time with it but some steps they have/have not taken really make no sense.

Being someone that played Fallout 3 on both PS3 and 360, I wholeheartedly agree with this comment.

Want to give you a bit more detail on this: we're working on a whole bunch of fixes for all platforms. PS3 stability (in general) is something we are working on. Unfortunately, the GM who is quoted here used the dreaded word "soon" - and while I don't want to crush any hopes and dreams, I also want to make sure we're all on the same page since that word is super vague, particularly in terms of timeframes.

I'll always keep you up to date on new improvements and changes coming to the game - but I don't have any ETA or update on this one. The devs are aware of it, though.
I love the way you sweet talk us

I don't think anybody here believes Trion uses the word "soon" to mean the same thing we mean when we use it.

But you know that it`s only because they are bad ports from the XBOX. Every exclusive game made for the PS3 works flawlessly.

Skyrim ran fine on PC. Initially it had stability issues on the Xbox but they were patched within months of the launch and paled in comparison to those for the PS3. Bethesda flat out stated that the game had unique synergy problems with the PS3 platform. So much so that Bethesda informed players that it couldn't even provide a rough timeline of when (or if) the problem could be resolved or if additional Skyrim DLC already released/being released/to be released for PC and Xbox would be available for the PS3.

I had zero issues with Fallout 3 for the PC but I bought it long after the initial release so it was probably all patched up.

No. It's not a problem with the platform. It's a problem with how the developer builds the application for that platform.

I have been playing GTA Online on PS3 for over a week now. No connection issues. Despite some earlier reports, my experience has been stable.

My Defiance connectivity experience was relatively stable until they introduced DLC1. Keep getting disconnected usually after sieges and arkfalls. Stopped playing last week after it happened again and have seen no evidence of a plan to improve it soon.
