According to Trick: 'Get knockback resistance...'. Huh?

Get knockback resistance, being hit with a knockback based attack you will turn towards the guy who hit you. They are stuns essentially, also I think Blur will help with that a lot.

Where/how am I supposed to get knockback resistance, and how am I supposed to make this 'getting' happen?
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

Trick tends to joke at the first part of the question, then answer more seriously. Not sure if this is one of those cases.

This only started happening to me lately (a few weeks ago?) and I didn't know what it was - was it in the DLC1 patch? I also changed up my EGO perks so maybe I had something that resisted this but now I don't.

Yeah, I'd like to know more about this too.

It started with the DLC and is very, very annoying...especially being that it seems to be totally random. There will be nobody close enough to be meleeing you nor a bomb throwing mob yet you'll get knocked back and turned 180 degrees.

Mainly, DM Snipers make you do this, thats when youll most notice the knockback and not know where its coming from. Otherwise the Omnivolts will be front-leg smashing the ground to stun you...

It's unrealistic and irritating >< I wish they'd remove it and just have us stumble a little bit.

LOL Really?... Sorry but you arent allowed to talk Realism in Defiance. It just aint right.

Ill give you the iritating, but im taking the "Unrealistic" away from you... and tbh thinking about it, spinning away on a sniper shot, isnt that unrealistic at all. What do you do when a buddy pops you in the shoulder? You move that shoulder away after contact. Think about what would happen if you were shot in the shoulder while you had a shield on ya.

It happens in all of the major arkfalls and sieges. I've just started to hang-out on the outer edges...preferably on a hill...which seems to avoid it all.

I was more thinking how you completely turn around to face whatever hit you, like I'd stumble forward in real life if someone hit me hard in the back not turn around and awkwardly look forward lol

Disagree... I got into my fair share of brawls throughout my teenage years. Whenever i got hit in the back (getting jumped wasnt uncommon), I would immediately turn to confront my attacker fast as i could to retaliate... Doing that is more realistic then simply moving forward...

Sure in real life you get shot in the back youll go forward, and likely die given a good enough shot. But VBI doesnt supply us with a free shield for our EGO unit lol.
