    So it was said on the Livestream at least once... AMMO Nano and Melee Nano are both a roll now. So effectively you'll have 8 Rolls to a weapon.

    I thought it was something like 50/50 to get the Ammo Nano, and another 50/50 shot at the Melee Nano... Could be totally wrong... But also remember EGO lvl plays a part. When the whole gun system resets @ 2,000 i think it is?

    Your premise is wrong, because any new weapon can have both a nano effect and a rare bonus, and those old weapons with a nano effect already gave up a rare bonus to get the nano effect. This would just give them the rare bonus that they would have received under the new system.

    Furthermore, even if you were correct, making a few old weapons better than a new gun is preferable to devaluing every weapon in the game compared to a new gun.

    I don't watch the livestreams. I guess melee nano effects aren't considered a melee damage bonus since they said they were removing those from everything but shotguns.

    i dont care what any of the reasoning is it is just stupid for a legendary to not have a nano all legendaries should have a nano period especially since they are no more synergy converters thats right NO MORE SYNERGY CONVERTERS TRION IN THEIR INFINITE WISDOM DID NOT PUT SYNERGY CONVERTERS BACK IN THE GAME IF YOU DONT HAVE ONE FROM BEFORE YOU WONT FIND ONE

    No it's not. Can =/= will. Automatically getting one is an entitlement that doesn't come under the current weapon generation mechanics.

    Making them equal to a new gun by making them roll for nano-effects is objectively the proper way to retroactively apply the current changes to weapons, but how many players with a stockpile of epic and legendary weapons with nano effects would freak out if they looked at their inventory and found that half of them no longer had nano effects but had a blue weapon stat bonus? It's understandable why you would want preferential treatment but that's not the objective way to make the new weapons bonus system retroactive on old weapons.

    Maybe I'm not understanding you correctly, but I do see the incendiary and radiation converters in various (non-faction) synergies at the shotgun mod vendor.

    I do not care for this decrease in frequency of nano effect weapons either. Already go an orange pistol yesterday I just sold to vendor. Also appreciated that meaningless x1.02 mag roll, Trion! Thanks for the troll roll.

    What are you basing this on? I didn't see anything in the patch notes about it. I thought they were only available as specials at mod vendors?

    Not played in 2 months. First thing I notice is nothings really changed which is NO suprise. 2nd thing I notice is that lock boxes still suck ***.

    I had a ton of sc and salvage saved up and seeing that there was changes to rolls, I decided to blow it all.

    Here's what I got at ego 4820:

    4x OJs; 3 were crappy gun types that no one in their right mind would use, all of them had NO NANO EFFECT and cannoneer mods WTF! The 4th was a regular Ironclad III with no resistance or sub effect.

    12 purples: again, same thing....worthless gun types with worthless mods; only one had a nano effect...horray! Same thing with the shields.

    Rest was, ofc, blues so they are automatic salvage/vendor bait.

    SO! The grand total of items from 76 t4 lock boxes (305 items!) that was worth keeping is.....drum roll please!

    ZERO.

    I immediately alt f4ed. #%$#% this #%#%y game.

    no there are no more converters with synergy there are converters but not with synergy

    That vendor is special. The Bug N' Chug Shack near golden gate bridge, sells all the convertor mods with synergy - only for shotguns. Just have to wait for the development team to update the vendors for the other weapon types. All the vendors needs to be updated though.
