Orange velocity bonus to orange volge rifle does not work

Okay, this gun belongs ironcladtrash. He asked me to test it after he didn't notice a difference. This gun was obtained after the new patch, it was tested against a purple volge battle rifle found before the patch change. (a friend who is 5k ego did the test because I'm slightly lower than ironcladtrash)

The velocity bonus does not increase the speed of the projectile like the velocity bonus for detonators does.
Is this an oversight?

Update: just got an orange ground pounder with the same velocity bonus, it works for the ground pounder but it does not work for the volge rifle.

Another update.



The 25% speed increase on explosive kill does not work with the volge rifle, however it will work when I use a grenade.

Find the same gun without it, then fire at something and see which projectile hits first.

my friend has both, and i asked about the velocity, and he fired both ---- the one with the velocity roll, had a much faster firing rate, but no fire rate roll. maybe they have their rolls mixed up

The velocity rolls on detonators are working correctly so I'd bet that he had some kind of other roll that was increasing the fire rate.

I have an OJ Volge Battle Rifle and it has a +0.50 Full Damage Radius and I am seeing no increase in the radial damage area. I think these buffs were not applied appropriately to the weapons.
