Those encounters need to be made smarter. Honestly, the best of the major ark falls is the hellion, because the symbiote is less predictable in it's attacks and moves. We need smarter big mobs... bugs overall should be the dumbest with Volge and Dark Matter being the smartest. Dumber factions should make up for that in volume.

You see some of this with Volge, Dark Matter, and even Raiders; they use cover and cover each other for shielding. That strategy doesn't pass up to the mini-boss and boss level though and it needs to. Bulwarks should be a focal point for other DM forces and Monitors should shield them like everything else. Monoliths shouldn't just stand there and take a pounding, they should be shooting and trying to step on players. Etc, etc, etc...

    Strategy, not bullet sponges.
I agree, they should program a number of behavior/combat patterns into each enemy spawn and have that spawn exhibit one of them randomly, similiar to weapon rolls lol. Solo, Disobidient, Group, Cooperative, Determined, Cowardly, maybe have one or some of these traits and a randomly attack/defend pattern.

Raider Blitzers that run away and look for help from additional Raiders within range, 99er Mattocks that charge and melee while other 99ers fight at range, Skitterlings that keep their distance until you get knocked down by a surfacing Warrior and then pounce for the kill.

I always imagined the Hellbug Arkfalls swarming with Skitterlings and groups of Hellbugs "hunting" instead of popping out every few minutes and getting gunned down by players. The Skitterling swarms, created by evasive tunneling Matrons, would attack or sacrifice themselves to harass players while groups of Warriors and Archers (regular and elite) move in for the kill, concentrations of Blastpods using AoE attacks to knock players around or target Snipers that are outside the Arkfall bounderies, and Monarch pairs seek out the top ranking players. The Helion should form a kind of "Collective" mind to focus these attacks and once its destroyed the remaining Hellbugs either fight to the death or leave the field.

That'll give more incentive to gear and group up for Arkfalls, they should give that an Alpha Server Test.

The clock goes round and round.
    Where it goes nobody knows.
Except those few who don't try and loose.
The clock keeps ticking as fortune glooms.
Fore those who are loose with what they choose.
The clock keeps ticking over those bafoons while the watchful eye always looms.

Well put. When the day comes and we get this or something like it I would feel good again about recommending this game to other people I know and try again to get people I know up on the game for round 2. Round 1 they all left but me and are waiting on this issue. They like me want more hard more EPICNESS. They all tell me the game never made them feel like a Ark Hunter and ask me why do I still play and I say to them it's still fun for me!!

I hear ya, I'm still having fun knocking out pursuits and doing contracts, finishing emergencies with an odd loadout for a change of pace but what would truly make me feel like a Ark Hunter is if the game let me buy/sell/trade Ark Salvage to a vendor or player. I thought that was the whole point of Ark hunting, getting rich and retiring to Antarctica.
