DLC 2 Release Date?

Someone has probably already started a forum on this but its been a while since I played this game and even longer since I have been on this forum so im starting a new one does anyone actually know when its coming out?

Thought I'd return after a few months expecting something new at least in way of DLC and to try and maybe rekindle my Defiance fondness.

Only to be met with the game in pretty much the same state as I left it.

There's hardly even an inkling of interaction between the devs via the community section.

Well i read this on steam
First DLC took 4+ months of delays(originally was supposed to be just a scant couple of weeks after the game launched originally) to be implemented and while they had roughly a staff of 150 working on it.

Since the summer 70% staff reduction follow then by the studio being closed with devs only willing to move 8+ hours away to the Redwood office/HQ, you're looking at a very small number of people left to work on getting DLC 2 and the other 3(ie 4 remaining) DLC's out by the start of next years TV show season.... that is if you believe they'll stick to their word on that(since they certainly couldnt for the first dlc).

So really no one can tell you, I'd speculate even the skeleton crew of devs themselves at this point.


So im not to optimistic but it did take them a really long time to roll out dlc one so maybe they will release the second dlc and dlc one was pretty good but none of my bought it so i lost interest fast.

That's funny coming from somebody who hasn't even been on forum for a few months. Here's some info for you. THere is NO date for Dlc 2. These threads are started several times a week. There will be instanced arkfalls with Dlc 2 and they will also change the grenades from infinite to an actual grenade pool. They changed the roll mechanics for ALL new guns looted with the most recent patch, and that made most of your old guns (including oranges) antiques and almost obsolete. They also nerfed Nim a couple months ago.

This is all information that we got in late august its now the middle of October and we have not heard anything since and that's why im skeptic about it.
