Sieges this week have been good to me with two purples and an oj Volge Battle Rifle. The oj I'll hold onto until a really nice offer presents itself, but I traded away one epic and got this one recently:

Thanks again orchido! I love the 2.00 Velocity - makes the gun much more viable than Fire Rate rolls that make a 1.5 into a 1.6.

(One small side note to those seeking Cannoneer versions of this weapon with fire rate rolls - even a 20% Fire Rate increase will only get you to 1.7 Fire Rate...so don't trade too heavy for one.

Even if you have a Cannoneer with 3 Fire Rate rolls additionally you will ONLY get a 1.7 Fire Rate maybe 1.8 but my math says no. LOL Fire Rate rolls are garbage on this weapon, imo - now velocity on the other hand...yummy!)

Yeah, we discussed this in-game prior to the trade. Fortunately, there were more than a couple of Volge Battle Rifles on hand for our in-game testing. I equipped my loadout with the velocity enabled rifle, beside me was the non-velocity version. With a target in the distance, we simultaneously fired our weapons. Suffice to say, there was a difference. And this wasn't my conclusion as the seller btw. The difference may have been only incremental, but that's all relative and it isn't meant to turn this wep into a smg.

With that said, I do know of a clan member who slapped on a burst mod on his volge battle rifle and believe it or not, double tapping it works!

I'm a big fan of in game testing - folks were running around with VBI Short Barrels saying fire rate shortened the time between blasts for the longest time...then I did a test and...well...no.

The velocity roll is very easy to see in action on the Volge Battle Rifle...I'll show you sometime.

Ok cause i have one with it to and i see no diff at all... I have one without it and one with it, and this volge battle rifle dosnt have the velocity roll unless you rolled it

You've been on here a while smurf - you gotta learn to follow a thread better. Orchido says that his OJ Volge Battle Rifle was traded away to which I replied thank you.

I have a Volge Battle Rifle with a 2.00 Velocity Roll now and it is a clear difference. If you have a velocity rolled Volge Battle Rifle and you don't see a difference perhaps you aren't paying attention enough - have you fired side by side with a non velocity rolled rifle? This would of course require an in game friend.

Oh - orchido - wouldn't mind a shot at the purple one too - I think I have a VBI AR similar to Sally (not as great - Sally's a one of a kind - ) you should be using at Sieges - as we discussed last night.
