Charge Blades? idk

I'm sure this question has been asked already, butttt where do I get the Charge Blades? I downloaded the DLC and started a Castithan character. I did read on another form that once you create the Castithan that you will receive one in my inventory automatically. Never got that. Then I read on here that I have to buy a Tier 4 box and maybe get lucky enough to get one that way. So any help would be great. Thanks guys!

You can earn enough to purchase a charge blade from the Thorn Liro Vendor at the Lighthouse - you have to pay 15K scrip and a bunch of thorn liro rep that you earn doing the arenas from the DLC.

Look for the little warpy symbol to start the arenas.

Can regular characters do arena also, or does it have to be castithan? And can regular players use the charge blades? thanks

You don't have to be Castithan to use or acquire the blade.

Aside from earning a charge blade from completing the Thorn Liro quest line or purchasing one from the Thorn Liro faction vendor you also have a chance to land a charge blade from a T4 lockbox although grinding Thorn Liro rep and buying one is your best bet.

yea they are great at destroying arkcores (even when not using the rapid hit glitch)

and are very fun at 1v1 duels but i think they are a little frowned upon for duels,
i don't know why sure they are powerful but when trying to kill a shot gun wielding ark hunter it is more a game of chance...
i usually make it blatantly clear that im going to use a a sword to by equipping it and approaching the person im going to challenge... sadly very few people want to have a mellee only duel now a days

I was never a mele style player until I got my hands on a charge blade.
It's still not my go to style but the blade sure is fun.

Very few people have and regularly use blades yet. Besides there is an old saying ,"Never bring a knife to a gunfight?"
