Will they give us boats

Ok, just because I am bored at work, and like to hear people scream.....

Unless they populate some islands, there's no reason to give us boats. However, if they did give us boats, you know what would follow close behind.....

There I said it! Ok so now the FPS people are scratching their heads, while the classic MMO people are either reliving their fond memories of fishing... or chucking their keyboard through the screen in blind rage.

Or so I hope, like I said I am bored at work.

Boats?!

If you're going to ask that, then ask: Will they give us arial vehicles?

Or will we get gatling guns outside of a few rampages? Yea i know...I know, but I'm sure they can implement it in a way that you can play the heavy without ruining it for everyone else or make it too easy. I thought up of a few ideas while fantasizing about it.

Arkfalls probably happen over the water more land, as the Earth is mostly water and the arks are falling space debris.

I had thought they would have had Arkfalls fall in the water with some crazy water creatures popping out attacking us by now.

And you'd be dead in the water with no one able to revive you. On land you can maneuver to evade an attack. Have you ever seen a boat try to "roll dodge" or turn on a dime. No? Because it isn't going to happen. Even small craft boats don't have a lot of wiggle room. Just my 2 cents.

We all on land shooting it. The Arkfall falls into the water. Some kind of creature pops up and shoots us say. After we take down the creature we the players on land can see the crystal down in the water and we must shoot at it when the creature is down no jumping in water or anything.

Then when the creature heals it is back up protecting the crystal and shooting out pod like things that when shot out and explode on land where we are creatures pop out and attack us while the thing in the water is attacking us as well.

Now if Trion wants to make things more interesting they could have some ships dropping in dark matter guys to spice things up as well. Back to my ? did anyone play blood wake back in the day back on original xbox

If you look at how the world is made, the waters are just flat areas that are rated at 0 on the y plane of whatever program they used to make the game.

If you've ever gotten past the invisible walls, you'd see that, to the west and north at least, the land doesn't go as far as the world map implied, in fact it doesnt' go that far at all before it just cuts off and there's just water.

So if they added water vehicles, there would have to be A LOT of work done to get it working. Including re landscaping.

However if they did ever add watercrafts and areas, I imagine it would be on the EAST side of the playable map, as they could add to the landmass to the east and north and just have the water in the middle playable. Maybe have an island/water base here and there for warp points.
Again, I don't see that happening soon. That's more expansion territory than DLC. It would be pretty cool though to have the land surrounding the bay playable, and the bay itself playable, with arkfals points of interest etcs.

As for flying crafts, they COULD add them, but given the lore restrictions, they would just end up being hovering vehicles 50 feet in the air, I don't see them add much to the game. Unless Ark Hunters were suddenly able to go into orbit in the ark belt to do space battles and ark salvages, which would be awesome. lol I don't see flying crafts happening anytime soon.

Choppers and such would be better

Pets too! You could have a skitterling that you could fight along side you and die in 1 hit. Or a Hellbug Warrior. Maybe even a Monarch. They could level up a bit and you could assign then skills or whatever

It could be a nice money maker. I'd buy that. Some games do that too. They let you buy pets in their game stores.

There is just so much cool stuff that could be done and I bet a LOT of cool stuff is being held in abeyance.

A skitterling to fight along side me would not be fun and would lessen the thrill of my gameplay I say. Pets would not work in the game it would get way to crowded on the map and unable to tell friend from foe. I do like the idea of the lake battles with boats as someone said that would be fun and new.

Arkfalls in water fight from land and with boats. Time trials with boats on the water. Mix in daily and weekly contracts in with it. With that they could do falls only in the water that we fight with our boats maybe?
