"Special Store Loot" email?

~Epic Mod Box~ 4 EPIC never-before-seen Mods. Ok, well, we've seen the mods before, just only in T3-blue, form...

~T4 Jackpot Lockboxes~ These are normal Lockboxes, EXCEPT the fact they contain a 50% chance to hold another ENTIRE T4 Lockbox... The chance does not stack sadly lol. So you'll open 1 lockbox and get either 3 or 4 items (Im not sure if the Jackpot Lockbox takes the place of 1 item or not). You will then immediately get the next 4 Items, if you got the Jackpot.

* Heres the thing though, these might only be available in the Store for Bits... I thought i heard Trick say the Jackpot LB's were in vendors... I dont see why either of these wouldnt be in the Vendors, but, never point it past a company to try and make money... Which, Im cool with that if thats how they go...

** Also, it seems Trion is going with a Limited Time Offer, as opposed to a Limited Quantity Offer in both Rift and Defiance... They do all sorts of limited time Mount sales in Rift, and in Defiance for Extra Life, Trick said there will be a special E L Lockbox during the event, but for only a half-hour at a time, and ALL of the final hour of the Extra Life event (the 25th hour of the streaming day).

im going to be participating in the extralife event to raise money , how do we access the special el lockbox? do we use our keys or do we have to use bits or what?

Dont quote me, but i believe they will be normal, Vendor key-bought boxes.

BTW, the small patch today, is the Epic Mod Box, and Jackpot Lockboxes...

Looks like most active defiance players got this special store loot e-mail ... and for PS3 players looks like they are really stuffing those lock boxes full of extra goodies cause it may be until Christmas before we can open them at the rate of getting us back online and playing again hahahaha!!
