What is wrong with the people making the decisions for this company...

It seems like its just one bad decision after another...they do something like change the weapons recently which i thought was a great decision...then someone says "lets make all the weapons not have any nano"..are you kidding me...I'm a level 5000...i should never ever see a weapon without a nano...not a great decision...just when i thought u totally redeemed yourself...you go and take ANOTHER few steps back...getting sick of looking at purples with no nano...its just not fun...nothing to look forward to in between the scarce nanoless oranges...and you have a shutdown in the middle of a Saturday...WOW

    I understand your issues,
    A lot of us do.
But some of the issue you raise does have answers in the patch notes, and here in the forum, and in the blog.
It's not a complete info vacuum if you were to just look instead of posting first thing.
There are threads on the issue on this same page.
You could have had your answers by now.

Thats NOT to say the answers are going to make the timing any better.
But it's not a fact of it all being a complete mystery, either.

    Just sayin'.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

    NA/pc.

The timing is a bit odd. It would have been less disruptive if it was done during regular business hours when many players are at work or school. The only thing I can think of is that the new content isn't something they can simply flip a switch on internally once it's installed and they want to run it for a regular week (Saturday to Saturday). I wonder if that means we'll have another shutdown around the same time next week for them to remove the content.

It's a nice day here though so more outdoor time in the park for us and our dog then.

I'm really just talking about the bad decisions they make all together...when ppl aren't happy with something that bungie or even treyarch is doing..it gets fixed...and when they change things they don't do something stupid with it...like the nano thing...its ridiculous the problems they still have...i thought EA was a terrible game company...they don't look so terrible now...this game with all of its problems is borderline defective...to bad you can't return it...all of this sucks to cuz defiance was my favorite game of all time believe it our not...and their decisions are killing it....this game is like a bad girlfriend/boyfriend..depending in your preference...you know you don't want to be with them...but every night you snuggle up to it...and when the breakup comes...you will never speak to each other again..

If you're not getting weapons with nano effects you're simply having a bad run. The one nerf they did to nano effect was to remove one of the two rolls that check for nano effects. They did that because one of them was actually the blue bonus roll and it was replaced with a weapon stat bonus roll. The net effect is still good because you can get both. There's still a 50 plus percent chance to get a ranged nano effect on your weapon. It percentage chance scales up with EGO rating and rarity.

When you're checking your weapons keep in mind that it was the roll for either a ranged or melee nano effect on a weapon that was removed and the one for ranged nano only was kept. That means there is a whole range of weapons that simply won't have a nano effect (Infectors, BMGs, Detonators, and Rocket Launchers) so when you tally up what percentage of weapons are dropping with nano effects for you, you can only do it based on ARs, SMGs, LMGs, pistols, shotguns and sniper rifles and you have to count all color weapons. Fifty percent doesn't literally mean 1 out of every 2 weapons should have a nano effect. You can still have only 10 or less out 30 of those weapon drops roll a nano effect and when you couple it with the fact that four weapon types aren't ever going to give you one that can translate into 10 out 50.

There's nothing to fix. You need to be more patient. If you've fallen into a bad pattern for nano effect rolls it won't last forever. Mine didn't break for almost 3 dozen combined supply and Siege Tier 3 Lock Boxes but now I'm getting them more often.
