I have popped a few Epic boxes today and spotted in another thread discussing Jackpot boxes, folks showing interest as to the contents of the Epics. So might as well get a thread going. Ive listed what I have so far. Please feel free to add yours to the list.

I pretty much run and gun wherever I go in the Bay Area. In a way most of the mods I have lay about dormant untill I find something I want to put them into. Of the above, do you think there is anything that shines? Also if you have popped an Epic Box please add the info in here if you got something to shout about.

Me, I'll continue using whatever is at hand and rebuild my collection, maybe one day I'll use them mods

Actually, according to the blog they say the jackpot boxes are temporary, the mod hoard boxes are in a separate bullet point and make no mention of them being temporary content. It would make zero sense for them to add a new tier of items and then take it away like that, where as the bonus to lockboxes makes perfect sense.

thanks good to know its going to take a while to get t4 mods for my favourite guns

Yeah, I really don't like the confusion here, because the answer determines which ones I buy. I asked on the live stream, but their answer was so jumbled and confused that I didn't catch which were temporary if not both.

Has anyone gone back through the stream and made sense of it?

Its says under the list of stuff..

" all these new Defiance bonuses are happening on all platforms until November 1st!"

The epic mods will probably then become random store specials ranging from 15 to 20k, imo.

It says debut, so that means they are here to stay? But under it the list it says until Nov. 1st. Maybe they will be a store only item after the 1st? Doesn't saying anything about them being bought from the Lock Box.

They definitely said several times that the new mod box is temporary. It would be nice if it were permanent, but I'd expect (and Trick alluded to) them being returned at various times to drum up excitement. I could see them being a permanent fixture, eventually.

Yeah I just re-watched the live stream, they are both limited time (the confusion came when Trick accidentally said T4 boxes were limited, then corrected himself to say T4 mod boxes, and that T4 lockboxes weren't limited - obviously).
