    So are they just going to leave the boosts and limited time boxes up permanently for ps3 users, I got the patch error on Saturday and now I'm getting an error for this one too.

    Hi mate, I was getting the same messages saying patch error today, so I went to the dev tracker and he told anyone with the patch issue to delete the game ( not save data ) and reinstall the game and new patch. It's a pain in the arse but hey it worked. Been on it all night and never once got a timed out message. Hope this helps.

    Well I still have a patch error just 15 minutes ago so I can't play AGAIN. The PS3 NA server has always had a tendancy to boot me during major Arkfalls or any other time it choses even though I have tried all of the auto spam responses to the tickets I have logged. If I knew how to get my money back I would do it immediately, unless somebody can tell me really how to fix it. I love the game, but it has been nothing but hassel. It is the only online game in our collection that is unreliable.

    is it just the boosts extended for the weekend or is it the new lockboxes too?

    Morgana mentioned it in the server maintenance thread and others have confirmed it here, if you're still getting the patch error you need to quit the game, in the XMB in the game column go up to the top and look for the Game Data utility folder. Click into that and look for two Defiance files. One will be a small file of 29mb called "Title Update" and the other should be at least 7GB and be labeled "Patch Data." Delete the Patch Data folder, then relaunch the game. It will take some time because it needs to reinstall every patch again but it works.

    What if we bought boosts on other days than Friday or saturday? Do get a refund for those? Cause I bought two loot boosts but not sure what days I bought them on and I got them while the the event was ongoing.

    Unless it coincided with an error on their part making it impossible to play, doubt it. but you could always try submitting a ticket with them. submitted one yesterday for a skill boost I bought that ended up being wasted due to the patch error and am currently waiting a response.
