Newer player here, enjoying the game having fun... my only complaint is the constant jabberwocky that ego is always blathering.. hah

I mean it is fine for fluff i suppose but this chica is really starting to tweak my nerves is there a off switch that i do not know of? trust me i have looked if there is i missed it.

perfect example at the darkmatter arkfalls..... "detecting incoming hostiles might be darkmatter.... ???

really??? **** slap my arse and call me shirley. can not ride past anything without the mouth of the south as i have come to call her yakking it up.

do some more voice acting for ego at least something.... i know some of you internet tough guys will just say "volume button works" but meh i like to hear the pew pew of mah guns.

new voice acting or just a plain ole silence ego button would work for me just saying :d

"let's apply some ultra violence" !¡!¡ yea i hear that too many more times im gonna jump through the screen and apply some ultra violence to egos face.... with my backhand rick james beeiotch slap lol... ahh wait i forgot she is a hologram basically. so the slap would miss!!!! sadface 8(

but seriously a disable ego switch would be the nuts!!!

Being new, you've missed most of the EGO discussions. Overview. Obviously your EGO is a psychopath. Constantly yelling to blow stuff and kill people. Not to mention that she's always having you load her into other people's computers, ie. Torc's and Coopers. Personally, I would love all the chatter if, big if, it was voiced by a Samuel L Jackson or a Morgan Freeman sounding voice actor.

if you go into settings and reduce character speech to it's lowest. instead of ego
yammering all the time, you will just get a loud Bleep and see her pic. no more voice.

once you have played it for a while you will start to tune her out.
