Defiance TV show in the UK?

The question has recently been raised to me from one of my clan members. so I thought I would look into it for him. Being rite here in the US I hadn't put a moments thought into it until late last night but one of my UK members has been looking all over for info about wen and ware or even if the show will air in the UK. I figured it would most likely get a later start over there maybe end up running about A season or so behind the US. but he cant find a scrap of info on it. could anyone shed some lite on this one?

The show is launching the same week in North America and Europe. In some countries it might not be the same day but it is the same week, so we took a horseshoes and hand grenades approach to it, where close counts. It's not like 'Hey the premiere of the show is at 9 o'clock and it ends at 10, so at 10:01 in the game, boom! Trigger the switch.' It's that week."

I know this doesn't answer your "when" and "where" questions, but it looks like it does answer "if."

hopefully SyFy Channel UK will air it at the same time as the US, I hope. I want to see the series too - oh lol, if they only show it in the US in April it may hurt defiance TV series side

No they plan to air it ells ware just the UK for some odd reason that's a mystery however. And yea my clansman cant find jack on the syfy channel UK site like I looks like you guys are just gonna haft to hang on to your buts on this one

We are lucky to have the SyFy channel in France and the episodes will air almost simultaneously with the US.

Having looked on Wikipedia, it only states that Syfy will broadcast in the US and a Canadian broadcaster has picked the show up too. As yet nowhere else has, I would've thought countries with a Syfy channel would've automatically got the show but it doesnt seem to be the case.

Tbh, the game would probably keep me entertained anyway but I do like to follow a story and as the story evolves in a tv show, not being able to see it would really hamper the whole experience.

Could anybody actually in the know please clear this up for us one way or another?
