There's this general belief that people should keep quiet about certain stuff, but 99% of the time they know this stuff and people babbling about it, has no effect.

People have been trying to ask on the twitch feed, but since this seems to be a Rift only event, they are ignoreing all Defiance related questions.
At 1:38am/pst they mention switching over to Defiance, we'll see.

They don't seem to like the game all that much tbh. I don't think they play shooters much if at all.
That's how it looks to me anyway.
That would explain why they don't "get" some of the stuff we say over and over in feedback reports and on the forums and in questions on the twitchcast livestream.
I think they think it's a swell game, just not the kind of game they would spend a lot of their free time playing.
It would explain the obvious unfamiliarity they show during their livestreams as well.
