the thing is Sony has done cross platform gaming, look at eve thats conencted between Eve online for the PC and Dust 514 on the PS3, CS global offensive was suppose to have PC/PS3 support but got pulled, and i dont remember which but an old FF game for the ps2 was cross platform with the pc
Nope.
Sony doesn't play with Microsoft and a few years back MS axed all PC/Xbox cross platforming because console players get wrecked by PC players.

Ya i thought same thing at frist but read a interveiw and was dissipointed to hear that those two were butting heads but in the interview the lead guy said they have Pc and Ps3 playing together "in office" but microsoft wouldt even budge plus the age old PC players will dominate console guys in pvp was another reason.
and as far as console dying first i dont think so we have less of the mmo genre to choose from so i think the exact opposite Pc players will move on first way more mmo's to choose from and coming out for you guys than us
Our only issue will be having CoD players ask us "So what's an MMO?"

MMO on consoles never last that long they also seem to fade away pretty quickly and console players being at a disadvantge thats not enterily true, i know a lot of PC gamers that play MMOs with PS3/360 controllers and they just as good as everyone else
It's not in RPGs, what most MMOs are. It's when it comes to shooters. The things you can do with a mouse and keyboard when it comes to moving is way better then with a controller. Test it for yourself. Use a mouse and keyboard and circle a item and keep aim on it. Then try it with a controler and see how much harder it is, if you can do it.
As for the consoles MMOs dying fast. I can only think of one console MMO and it had problems because PS3 was hacked at the same time.
i do a lot better with a controller when it comes to shooters then i do with a mouse and keyboard lol but i guess its just prefernce and with this game it doesn't seem like you'd have to worry about teh difference being to big of a problem at least not enough to make it so its unfair
