Defiance Older Players Thread

Hi all I am starting this because for months I have been playing Defiance thinking that I was it's oldest player at 63yrs old. But I just joined a clan last night and found out another player in the clan is actually 68yrs old.

So if your like an old tart over 45, shout out your age here and lets see how many old farts we actually have playing Defiance.

I'm 63; been playing this game exclusively since its release and love it. I just wish there were more challenge options as I am not the best "driver" and have avoided all of those challenges. Currently at 3855 ego.

BTW Someone mentioned the kids, It's always been the elders have to teach the youngins most everything about life and then to instill confidence we tell them they are smart and doing fine and then the next thing you know they are telling us that we don't know anything. Anit it the truth LOL

It's nice to see older people here since all I run across are kids. I'm 40 and love this game. have laid down Skyrim for this since launch. I have my own clan that started with no members, It's called Shadow World Syndicate my in game character is Drayden Rasssa. If anyone is interested in meeting up in game I'm usually on after 10:00 PM

Early 40s guy here. I usually mute all players to avoid hearing kids scream, rant and/or rave in-game which completely ruins the gaming experience for me. Don't get me wrong - have a couple of kids myself - but the back-talking, childish name-calling etc. that I used to hear when playing the likes of BF2/3 or CoD on the XBOX has resulted me in muting anyone I don't know. Now I just "close my ears" and pretend everyone is an adult and mature.

Oh, and as of a year and a bit ago I'm a PC player (play on NA server). Don't think I can ever go back to consoles...

47 year old gamer chick here, split my time between a male and female character. Most of my clannies are at least 30 or older and the younger ones are very cool to hang with. This is my first shooter/pc game and I've been playing since launch. Frikkin' love it!!

Game question for all ya'll. Is the game instanced for either PC, XB or PS3? So if you are a PC player are you limited to a PC only instance? Just wondering why all the Jumping that I see some players use.

Surprised there are so many 40 and over on here, cool. I too run totally muted as far as in game is concerned. Only in group or clan etc will I talk. Same reasons as others have noted here...the disrespect, name calling, screaming, whining, or music playing in the background...
