Defiance Older Players Thread

I'm 40 and a female and play as a female. I run muted too and would love to have a clan. I'm genie s1 in the game and am usually playing on Saturday and Sunday. I'm playing on a ps3. I've always had consoles, back to the first nintendo.

Wrong game system for me.. wondering how many on this thread are xbox v PS3 or a combo of both. Oh and you've got me beat - I never even had an xbox until a couple years ago and that was my first game system lol.

As for me, spent the last 2 or more hours looking for afflicted on Mount Tam (to no avail). Why...because I just don't yet have the medical dunie. So I came to the forum looking for answers, all I see is, "drive around". Gee...ya think? Well, back to my search. Don't know how long they will keep this option on there. I just happened to notice they added it.

Frustrating, no question.
About the only thing you can do to improve the odds is to clear the emergencies that AREN'T afflicted, so the afflicted emergencies can spawn in their place.
And look on either side, too, they spawn in several different forms... Trucks at an on-road, a military encampment with a ring of crates in a field/clearing... stuff like that.

I'm sure you covered those bases, just making sure the 'T's are dotted and the 'I's crossed.

There are 4 locations that I'm aware of. 3 of which are locations of minor Arkfalls.
Go to the Bloodbath Fast Travel.
Location 1 : Head straight north from the Fast Travel and one location is just before the first intersection on the right side. The big open area where major/minor arkfalls appear. (1608,692)

Location 2 : From the Fast Travel go west up the windy road. There is an open area at the top of the windy road across from the first road to intersect it... just southwest of a time trial (I think). It is also the location of a minor Arkfall. (1137,1247)

Location 3 : Instead of going into the open field on the right from location 2, just keep driving on the road from the Fast Travel. There is an emergency that sometimes appears in the middle of the road between Kinship and Collective Plazas. (1177,1414)

Location 4 : Keep heading down that same road from the Fast Travel. Where the road curves west, there is also a dirt road heading east towards East Radio Tower. An emergency sometimes appears there... where a minor Arkfall appears as well. (1206,1533)

Hi all I am starting this because for months I have been playing Defiance thinking that I was it's oldest player at 63yrs old. But I just joined a clan last night and found out another player in the clan is actually 68yrs old.

So if your like an old tart over 45, shout out your age here and lets see how many old farts we actually have playing Defiance.

Thanks..(everyone) ... yeah, right after I made the post low and behold there they were -- crates, just as you described and just outside of bug n chug. lol. I finally have my med tech duni. Gotta admit - with an ego of 2500 plus, I'm starting to get a little bored with the game. I did restart my campaign for a second play through but found that a little redundant. Yeah I did start a second 'baby character'.... but still feels like its getting a little old. Too bad. Come on destiny! Looking forward to that game.
