This is a little frustrating, as I pre-order and wait for the patch to finish. Can't join. I finally get in and am watching the intro for the beginning and boom I'm kicked out with the service is unavailable.

Bought the game last night at 12AM EST. It is now 1240PM EST, and I still haven't been able to log in on the PS3.

Same Thing.

Only now I can login and I get stuck in a queue of 587 people which is ment to be a 3 min wait. I think that an unlikely time span but more, how have the servers gone from being empty to full with a queue in the moments between when the servers are down and they back up.

So I log in and get to the Defiance splash screen, and it says connecting to servers. Then I get a critical error saying The Defiance service is not available. Any ideas?

Follow this if you are getting "Service not Available" if it doesn't work also try setting up a DMZ for your PC or completely disabling firewall to ensure nothing on your PC is blocking ports.

Tried all that, didn't work.

wow.... this is REALLY lame. paid 60 for a game that's just going to sit on my shelf.
