Let's try a real world analogy.
- Your bank account holds 1000 dollars.
- The bank sends you a check in error for 10,000 dollars(obvious error).
- You go out and spend 10,000 dollars.
- Bank recognizes error and contacts you for return of funds.

It wasnt a charity event to give you money. They can put money in your player's bank. If they wanted to hand out say a cool 485K (to give out some random unknown number for whatever reason) they can/will... Did you not think it was wrong when you took advantage of the game? Seriously?

Been away for 2 weeks and missed so much fun? LOL! Good to see Trion is handling people that are taking advantage of unwanted exploits. See, exploits can happen anytime in any game. Certainly a game that's online and gets patches, updates, hot fixes and new features many times. Glitches and/or fails should be reported, not exploited. It ruins the game for the majority that is playing fair and sees the mistake.
If you had 6 mill before exploiting and 0 after your ban, consider it education-money. Expensive price to pay, sure. But if i exploit the taxman here irl, i'll be sure to lose more money then i gained as well. After having bad experiences with Evony, a great game that didnt allow multi-accounts and bots, but later closed their eyes and just let it slide and ruined it for the majority its great to see a company stand up and take necessary actions against ppl who deliberatly exploited their game! Good job, maybe its time to put Defiance back into my PS3!

Have you farmed Sutro Tower? If so your exploiting the game, not finishing a mission to gain benefit to your ark salvage or scrip is an exploit, shame on you.
