That's the key, isn't it? And unfortunately, something not very many people think about when they go to call customer service, or go to a return desk in a retail store, and any other number of similar situations. It seems that people tend to be more jerky in their behavior because that's the easiest thing to do. I don't feel it unjustified when they are called out for such behavior.
It has been my personal experience that, no matter how upset you are, when are talking to a support person (or posting a message in a forum), it is best to do so with a calm and concise manner. In the long run, you'll get better results because of it. Heck, that's how I was able to get a free upgrade to my cable service many years ago, and actually be able to watch it - when all my neighbors still had white fuzz on their screens and where literally shouting at the person at the other end of the phone.
