Trick said in a previous Live Stream that he'd love to be able to introduce weather, but it's really hard to make it work considering all the data that has to stream and stuff that needs to be coded.

I assume part of it has to do with other aspects particular to DEFI, as the company that released Havok claims:
"Ultra-realistic simulation of volumetric clouds, rain, sleet, snow, fog, etc. via SimulWeather".

He's also said that the different platforms have to be in-sync so it's possible that one of the platforms can't handle the data stream?

There were some images floating around on the internet that show some snow covered landscapes in Defiance. I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Yes. I'm aware of what Trick said and that the game originally (at least in promo videos) had weather effects.
I personally blame the 360 and PS3 as if there's any reason the game was limited graphically, it would've been because of those two ancient systems with their weak CPUs, GPUs and RAM.

And while it would be nice to see the game get a "reboot" for the next gen system and include HD textures and weather effects, I'm not holding my breath.

A Futurama Santa robot would still be nice though! lol

So we get a robot Santa that flies around killing us, that goes Ho Ho hoooo after a kill. Then drops mutant cleavers in Santa suits to finish off anyone left alive. If you survive you get a Santa hat for a reward. I like it.
