Just a few things Trick did/said struck me as a bit funny on tonight's live stream. Like how excited he got over the purple infector Greg got from the siege. I've sold or salvaged so many of those, and how he was talking about, with the stems, we'll be able to defeat a Volge emergencies all alone, I can do that now without stems.

If you just go walking up to a Volge Emergency then its going to be tough. No shield is going to withstand their shots that will allow you to go shot for shot with them. But they're not tough if you scout what you are up against and position yourself before you attack them.
I missed the stream. But I thought stims were going to be used in Instances only. And PvE would get the Spikes.
It was connected with the question about afflicted lockbox reward, how it doesn't supossed to reward legendaries.
Yeah, there's no shame in using cover and tactics against enemies. Do that and any emergency/roadblock can be soloed.
Pretty sure I already have something close enough to a stim, it's called Overcharge. bah, stims and spikes...
It just goes to show how little real interest they have in defiance and how unfamiliar they are with the weapons and their relative use and value.
The only infector I will keep any more is the full auto one. The canker is good for some things too but the infector they were so excited about is meh at best inmo even though the squirmy tubey things do look cool.
To their credit they did drive the raptor for a short time before Greg drove it into a slow spawning volge and blew it up, then abandoned it in favor of something that would get them to the siege before it expired.
Yes Liz, it is pretty underwhelming in it's current state.
The spent emergency was good to see in that it never despawned so they got to see that bug live.
I laughed out loud when Greg was shooting at the hellbug warrior with his infector and the other guys in the group squashed it with detonators in about a second.
A couple of tips for Greg;
If you have a guided launcher, try to let it lock before you shoot.
If the reticle on your infector does not turn red when aiming, you hit nothing.
It was nice how they offered up a big soft tissue for those most butthurt about getting caught printing scrip with the EL vendors.
So all in all not much in the way of real information but some good laughs.

For the record.
I can come off fairly negative in my criticism of the game and it's management. I am the first to admit when I am butthurt over things they do, but they are working on the game with what I think is a genuine desire to see it succeed.
I do NOT agree with all the things they have done.
I will not agree with all the things they will do, but I must say that the more time I see them playing this game having fun making me laugh,the more I really like them.

Stick and move cover to cover is the only way I can solo a volge emergency.

Yeah those emergencies are easy as is.
I really think it's sad that the bar is so low that someone can get bad rolls on a weapon and still call it good. That infector had mag on it, and he said it was good /facepalm - I hope he was just being polite. Every roll that is available for any given gun should be desirable, and mag on an infector just isn't (not in its current state anyway). It does it's effects every 5 shots, what good are 2 extra shots going to do for you? A waste of a roll spot if you ask me. Too much fat in this system... just too much fat.

Stims is a complete waste of dlc, time and effort. This game is easy enough. We DO NOT need stims. Who's with me? Say no to stims!
