Those tentacle looking things that come out of the ground and shoot the tar i think. Whats the best way to take those out? I can empty a few lmg magazines on just one of those, but shotgun doesn't seem any better. Tried shooting the tip, tried the base, same damage.

Yeah, with one or just a few players the tentacles go down fast. But with masses of people on an arkfall, of course its gonna take longer to take one down due to the upscaling of its health.

Yeah, it's the upscaling. But I think they got an armor boost. They are a lot harder to take out then they used to be.
They have no weakspot, and the more people that are in the area when those things appear, the more HP/defence the gain. All enemies scale like this depending on how many people are in the area, that way we cant just destroy everything in 15seconds, gotta make us work for it.
