I'm one of the Kool-Aid drinkers who support the developers, but I disagree with your statement. I've read many of Arsenic_Touch's posts & they are (although the name can be very appropriate) intelligent and constructive. Most complainers do just that - whine, but imo Arsenic has nothing to apologize for

THey should be sending him weekly pay, for all he has done.
Bug reports, problems found, information for community, making sure things don't get brushed under the carpet, everything.........
You know, I agree with you on this. I'm never going to hide a truth when I realize what I've stated previously is incorrect (no matter how long or how many times we've said it) but it's embarrassing and shouldn't happen. This instance isn't a matter of my team or the devs playing or not playing the game but honestly I think it's making sure that we fully listen to you. We've looked at this complaint several times in the past and always come up with the same reply and, honestly, when so much of the community is saying "no, seriously, keep looking - things have changed" we should have kept digging - and sooner.
We're human, and we make mistakes, but this mistake took months and that's completely unacceptable. The details of the hows and whys we figured out what we were looking at incorrectly honestly don't matter to me (which is why I've left them out!) because the bottom line is we should have seen the reasoning weeks and weeks ago - so I'm sorry about that.

This statement means that you still really don't understand how extreme and obvious this change was to everyone who does play the live game, and only the live game.
It's not always easy to recognize ones mistakes - especially when it's in front of a large number of people who are angry with how this community is managed (for good reason), but are also eager to poke and prod (sometimes very disingenuously) - so thank you for your apology. Hopefully we can avoid some of the future mishaps through less superficial interactions on these forums.
What a fantastic post but one thing that was missed and its a big one. Why are we constantly getting kicked from the server with a "server timed out" error? There have been threads after threads after threads. And not one response or acknowledgment concerning this problem. Granted this is my first post here. But a google search trying to find out why this was happening lead me to this forum.

I can go on. Since we're getting some good feedback in here. How about we address this as well. I've had an open ticket in the game going into it's second week with no response.
Like many I've lost countless xp and countless rewards with "server timed out" errors in the middle of major arkfalls, Volge Sieges and instances. I love this game, it's why I've kept playing but it's time we get a response and a Solution to this problem.

Yeah, you've apologised, but we get these same old empty words over and over and over again and still nothing seems to change...
"We're human, and we make mistakes"...You're right. But we learn from them so we don't keep making the same mistakes over and over and over again.
The fact of the matter, in my opinion, is the "TEAM" don't listen (For whatever reason that may be) to the general community. A lot of that community has played this game "ON A REGULAR BASIS" since launch. They like/love the game (Myself included) and are genuinely trying to help. Especially people like 'Arsenic'. I've never, ever seen 'Arsenic' post a non constructive or troll thread on these forums.
Even when the "TEAM" do listen, which seems to be few and far between, they seem, for some reason or other, to be uncaring of the issue and unwilling or 'unable' to do anything about it.
There are loads of people who post on these forums, both old and new players, who have come up with good ideas or suggestions or reported bugs and 'constant' issues which are ongoing with the game even after all this time (See the part of my sig' in red).
It's not their job to do this. They do it in their spare time because they don't want the game to fail. Not one single one of them gets paid for doing it.
It's your/your teams job to get it right. You all get paid to do it. I don't know how much and don't care. It's not my business, but you get paid to be the community manager and to pass the concerns of the community on to the 'team'. It then becomes their job to deal with these concerns, however they see fit to do so, then to communicate these results to you, to then, pass back down to the community.
This just doesn't happen...ever, unless threads like this one are created where people won't go away until we get an answer. You 'swing by' as someone put it, from time to time with a comment here and there and it's nearly always, these days, an excuse as to why something is still not fixed. I'm so sick of hearing 'soon' or 'we're working on it' and I'm sure that a lot of other people are as well.
Loads of long time players have left and will never come back because they have lost confidence in the 'teams' ability to sort the game out and that's not how things should be in any company worth it's salt.
Another thing that is blatantly obvious to 'a lot' of people is the fact that none of you have the knowledge of the game as someone who regularly plays. Knowledge which comes from actual game play. It doesn't matter what you say or would have us believe...IT'S OBVIOUS. Especially on the Live Feeds. They're an embarrassment sometimes and I honestly get the feeling that as soon as they're over you all rush off to get a shower to wash the stench of 'Defiance' off you.
I truly apologise if this sounds offensive to you as you all seem like good decent people but in all honesty, if you were working for me there would be alarm bells ringing left, right and centre...
