I can go on. Since we're getting some good feedback in here. How about we address this as well. I've had an open ticket in the game going into it's second week with no response.

Like many I've lost countless xp and countless rewards with "server timed out" errors in the middle of major arkfalls, Volge Sieges and instances. I love this game, it's why I've kept playing but it's time we get a response and a Solution to this problem.

Who else other than the Community Manager would pass along the concerns of the Community to the Developers...

I believe it is part of a CM's job to be the go between the developers and the community. However, it is also the "communities" job to accept the fact that when the devs deal with the issues "however they see fit" might not necessary gel with what the "community" wants to hear or wants to have done in the game. Not every decision by a developer will please all players. Should every decision please most players? I would think so, but history shows that it will not always be so in the MMO genre. I have played enough games to see instances where a decision by the developers was very unpopular with the majority of players, but was necessary for the overall health/good of the game (which it usually turned out to be in the end).

Unfortunately, not all problems of this nature are so easy to uncover and find a solution for. Countless times we have seen the community complain about the "soon" and "we're working on it" responses from the devs - a lot of it reiterated here. So what kind of response would you have liked to have if they have not yet isolated the issue and thus come up with a viable solution?

There are a number of us who share the responsibility of making sure the devs hear what you guys are saying. I, personally, am the director of global communications (that means I run our communications department - PR, events, community - that's me) but I'm a firm believer in everyone in the company being involved with the community so you hear from all of us and we all read and talk with the devs. It *is* my job to make sure you guys are heard, whether I am personally the ones reading and talking or it is someone on my team. But I do have a different role from that of a CM (which is why you don't see me as much as you would if I were a CM!)

All that aside, none of that matters in regard to the Volge Emergencies. You guys know that we'd talked about this with you many times before - but we didn't look in the right place and so were giving you the wrong answer.

If you're not going to do the job, then someone needs to higher a person who will - because the CM job is not getting done. And, if you guys think it is getting done, then your standards for community management are seriously low.

To start with an acknowledgement of the problem. People can and will complain about "soon" and we're working on it" but once there is an acknowledgement of the issue accountability comes into play. In any production environment there is always a known issues list. Developers are aware and they strive to solve those problems. So it wouldn't be too much to ask to have a locked down "known issues thread" Add it to the list if need be. But that's a start and done in good faith I feel it would go a long way in soothing some of the outcries. It's an ongoing issue that isn't an isolated one. So it shouldn't be brushed aside.

Dahanese...Truly, thank you for responding so quickly to clear that point up.

I apologise if some of my comments have caused you offence. It is in no way personal. There are a lot of us here who really do love the game and don't want to see it fail but please understand that when you guys want us to support the game and invest more money into it, it is very frustrating when the team behind it "Appear" to not even play it that much. It just doesn't inspire confidence when someone who has played for more than a week seems to know more about the game play than the team who develop it...
