I was wondering- seeing as we're nearing the end of a console cycle (and I, in no means, am making any judgment towards the success of the game), is the game going to be playable offline, singleplayer, private matches, etc.?

I'm wondering because I have more friends that would play this on Xbox than on PC, so I'm debating which platform to get it for.

I believe you need to be online for all modes of play.

It still irks me that the Ultimate Edition is only available at Gamestop in the United States.

is this confirmed ? i would really hate to miss out on the messenger bag etc. i couldnt find UE on gamestop uk or IE but they tend to be slow updating the site. planning on checking my brick and morter version later today.

The only thing i saw in here that i didn't like was the part about clothing.
Sucks that we can't add individual pieces like a traditional MMO.

But other than that, things look good to me.

During the beta i have went from maybe getting the game to wanting the Collectors edition based on gameplay then seeing the Art book and Soundtrack included though im a little sad/down that buy getting the Psychical version i wont get a custom Runner while i didn't use it that often aside from having to run a kilometer i think *Metric gives me a headache* though im still getting the pshyical and glad that i been able to enjoy the game and cant wait for April release shortly before my birthday so i will have to "be sick" that week :P

Gf just reserved our two copies of the Ultimate Edition. Going to be some serious gaming going on once this hits. Thankfully it comes out the day before I get home from work. So that will mean two weeks of uninterrupted gaming. Also really looking forward to the messenger bag included.

Is it segregated play or will everyone be able to play with everyone? Example: PC/ PS3/ Xbox all playing together at the same time? I have friends on all platforms and don't wish to leave anyone out...

My only complaint about the game is that the dismount for the runner is too close to the right turn button and that you can't use the arrow keys to turn. I don't have small hands or fingers and it makes it very difficult to navigate. The beta has been awesome! I am very excited for this release!

I know that AWSD is used for normal navigation in games.... I use my mouse instead, the beta doesn't allow for this.

@The boost issues - that's why we are doing multiple stress tests and beta events now - to avoid those issues!

Really enjoy reading the Q & A's for Defiance, sheds a lot of light on whats going on. I cant wait to purchase my Deluxe edition and be ready for the game!
