Preorder FAQ - Updated Jan 30th

I would really appreciate it if there would be some digital edition (ideally, the Digital Deluxe already existing) that comes with ALL the in-game content, like the Pale Wars Ronin title, DLC Season Pass and the like. I'm not really thrilled with the Ultimate Edition being the only way to access certain in-game content, with its premium price (plus shipping charges of course) coming from physical items included. The Digital Deluxe Edition is already significantly higher priced compared to other games (I think $60-80 would be more reasonable, but I also think that the standard PC version should not be encumbered with the $10 premium that goes to the console manufacturer. There are still some of us paying attention to things like that), so I don't think its unrealistic to include ALL the in-game content in such a package.

I have been in contact with GAME STOP Customer Service via email over the last week or so. We have had several emails back & forth. I was inquiring about their exclusive 'Ultimate' edition @ $149.

I provide several quotes back to them & uploaded many screens shots for them. I will keep you posted on my findings. My questions to them have now been through several sets of hands.

Not sure if this has been asked before but:

If I preorder the game today, when is the money taken from my Bank Account? I only ask, as I'd really like to preorder so I can have guaranteed access to the last Beta weekend, but cannot afford for the money to leave my account until next month, or possibly around the time the game is due to go live.

If its from Gamestop, they usually wait until the game ships before charging your card

I've looked through this and can't find an answer... hopefully I'm not just blind and repeating something that's been answered already...

I just paid off the pre-order through gamestop and got the code for Trion... but I'm reluctant to input it yet and here's why...

do I need to use the same email address to log in here as I do with my Live acct so that they are both connected? I'm curious to know if that's how the code is going to tie in from Trion to Live... I remember running into an issue with a gun skin I was trying to get for Syndicate and it ended up being that I was using a different email address than is connected to my GamerTag to sign up for the skin... wasn't thinking clearly... after I figured it out, it was a real "duh" moment...

anyway, anyone know if that's the case here? or are they going to connect the two in a different way, perhaps...

Gamestop haven't listed any beta invites for the UE where Amazon.co.uk has listed

Where the Gamestop pre order bonus only gives you a weapon, is this a mistake or are beta codes only given from chosen retailers?

EDIT: I've just read that online orders aren't billed until release date so they probably won't be sending out beta codes automatically. Some clarification on this would be neat.

Also it appears the preorder extras for Gamestop are quite lame (single weapon) compared to what I've posted above from amazon.co.uk which is a shame, but amazon.co.uk won't ship videogames pre orders to Australia apparently

Gamestop doesn't have it listed online leaving the impression theirs do not have a beta access code.

Okay, I can't find the original response and this seems the best thread to ask...

I know that Sledgehammer confirmed that buying a Steam Pre-order would give codes that you could apply to your other PC ordered version to get multiple benefits from Pre-ordering more than one copy of the game. However he stated he would have to check into the fact if the Steam Pre-order codes would cross platform.

So my questions is if I were to order the $40 Deluxe Digital Upgrade Pre-order and the Tier rewards kick off would I be able to use those Codes on my Xbox pre-order? If this was addressed could someone point me to the thread, thank you.

Also, do the Collector's Edition bonuses stack with Ultimate Edition? ie. 2 lock boxes, both titles, +10 inventory, etc.
