Just please Fix the chat only I LOVE THIS GAME , BUT WE NEED COMMUNICATION!!!

To be honest, I'm not sure console users would even use voice chat anymore. I think Xbox Users have been using our party option on LIVE for so long that it's become second nature. As for text, I'd almost prefer the previous way.

Max, we do use Xbox party if there are less than 8 people together. Over 8 people and we are forced to use in game voice chat and even that breaks you into groups....very frustrating when trying to host a Death March. What we have noticed is that there seems to be a limit and then you get "split"...for instance P1 can hear and talk to P2 and P3 but P2 and P3 can not talk to each other or hear each other....it is odd how it works.

That's the same issues that our clan had from the start... and turned many of them away.

Hopefully the Xbox LIVE party system will be upgraded when One comes out.

It probably will on One since one will also increase the friends list to somewhere around 1000.

Well....that won't help me.....I won't be buying a new system until the price comes down and they work out all the "kinks".

No crasher.....honestly I haven't had many issues with DEFI....I know others have, but I guess I got lucky "this time".

I never buy new systems when they come out...they are way too expensive and always have issues. I would rather wait till they fix most of the issues and the price drops. Besides....there aren't many games that look interesting to me and I'm having a blast with the DAWN PATROL. Besides...as far as I know....all my games won't work on Xbox1...unless something changed.

Sorry Max, but they already said 360 players will NOT get the friend and chat improvements, and for that matter they currently are NOT planning on giving us Skype either, even though it will be a main focus for X-BONE.

Just forget the new tab window for the chat and make it Like rift or other games , Chat at the main HUD screen of our game,This game is perfect thats my opinion , some guys bored of it cus there isnt something ofc like maps or anything , i know its hard u are doing ur job and doing it over the Series defiance ! But that chat is horrible , none uses it and if u dont have clan u are alone in this game ! JUst make the chat "more simple" so people can notice when someone types! Just remove the new tab chat and make it at the right corner down

why don't you try going into gameplay options and increase the chat fade, it makes the chats stay on longer and yes chats do appear on the lower right hand side, just watch and see

This kind of thread blows me away, chat is there and so is voice chat ingame. But some players don't even know how to set it or even use it,, IE how do I whisper, well ya don't whisper you PM with a /w players name here
