Here's basically my plan for the next two days:

Day 2: Chase wakes up and doesn't get any response from knocking on the doors to the room, him realizing that he awoke a few hours after everyone has left their rooms for the day. So, he realizes he's going to need to be the one to gather the supplies, which he goes to the market to do. After loading up everything into the carrier, Chase realizes he's been followed by a group of five. By using a combination of his EGO powers and dirty fighting tactics, Chase manages to handle all five. When he begins to interrogate one of them, he discovers that they are E-Rep soldiers who were sent to kill him. He believes Pottinger sent them because of the fact that Chase had beaten him many times during the playing of Philadelphia Blind Poker. Chase gets assistance from Amanda Rosewater to lure him to the Need/Want, where Chase interrogates him at gunpoint. Pottinger's answers and his behavior suggests to Chase that he didn't send them, Chase apologizing to both for the situation. Realizing that if those five were after him, there was a chance that they could be after the others. His EGO, however, isn't able to get through because of range (this includes Ms. Sinn, Vo and Taffer being outside the city, and Belle's blockage, though Chase doesn't know any of this). He decides to park the carrier near the Gateway Arch due to how much more open the area is there, whereas if they tried to navigate the narrow streets from where it's currently parked, a simple dead end alleyway and two or three vehicles could block and potentially damage the carrier. Chase decides to head to outside of the city limits, having Nick escort him in Chase's Challenger. But before they take off, Nick apologizes to Chase, and one of the E-Rep soldiers uses a stun gun at the base of his neck, knocking him and his EGO unit out (this also accounts for why the others haven't heard from him, because he was out cold during some of the recent change of events).

When Chase comes around, he finds himself bound in an empty building somewhere in the Hollows. Mercado is there, still dressed in Castihan drag, which confuses Chase and makes him wonder how a Castithan would have charge over E-Rep soldiers. Mercado continues to convincingly play the role, informing Chase that they are former E-Reps that are now in fact assassins, and Chase is going to be used as bait for Vo, Taffer and Ms. Sinn. Mercado instructs one of the assassins to leave Chase's Challenger where they could find it, and a clue as to where he could be found, while he heads out to try to find Belle. When Chase's EGO comes back online, Chase silently instructs it to repeat a warning message to the others in hopes they find it before they discover his car: "Do NOT come for me. It's a death trap. Carrier is stocked and at Arch, leave while you can," and he hopes that it reaches them. This sets up the opportunity for the others to rescue Chase (maybe Belle's Castithan disguise can fool the assassins? Or maybe a Big Damn Heroes type of rescue? I'm sure y'all can come up with something), and they end up taking Chase's car out to the woods where Ms. Sinn has moved the carrier to, where they stay for the night and avoid any soldiers or anyone looking for them.

Day 3: The group gets the hell out of dodge, heading south towards Florida. Here is where Ms. Sinn can inform Chase they are going to make another stop, this time in Freedom, Alabama.

Speaking of which, I'm still working on a description of Freedom, Alabama. One thing to keep in mind that most of the original state of Alabama is unaltered by terraforming. However, since Freedom is formerly Pensacola, Florida (or a second that remains of it after the Pale War), there has been some minor terraforming in the area of Freedom that includes sections of the town having been swallowed by the earth. When I post the description, if anyone has any questions about additional details about the town, feel free to ask, and if there's something you'd like to contribute for details about the town and its people (including if you guys want to add someone to the "cast list"), post it here and we can all discuss it and make sure we have all details locked down. I'm sure someone's definitely going to like the Delilah Sisters' Hotel and Brothel (especially their "dinner menu" for their adult suites).

And before anyone asks, yes, I plan on leaving the Challenger in Freedom while the group makes its way to Tampa.

I was hoping that the Viceroy would be more passive support to the assassination attempts, because I figured he would be more of behind the scenes than hands on, Also, wouldn't Pottinger make more sense in that role, but it's your story, although I had hoped to bring "Uncle" Mercado to the Bay area in a future story, because he was so much fun to write!

On second thought, do with him as u wish - I don't want to deprive anyone else from the fun that is Viceroy Mercado!

By the way in the USA Old West, pamphlet stories written by reporters who went west and interviewed outlaws and lawmen were popular in the east, so outlaws like Billy the Kid, Jesse James, and Belle Starr became celebrities, at least to easterners.

Well, last I remember, the Carrier was parked behind the Lawkeeper's office (from when we first arrived in town). Unless Ms. Sinn moved it without my knowledge (or I somehow missed the bit where she moved it in her posts). But I think there's still time for Chase to load up the carrier with supplies before Ms. Sinn takes it, and when he discovers he's being followed, I can have him wonder if it was moved by one of the others or if it was stolen after he stands off against Pottinger.

You still can have Uncle Mercado come to the Bay in the future, and Chase wouldn't recognize him (as long as your character doesn't mention who the guy in drag was in this story, Chase would assume that it was a Castithan he saw). Though I understand the idea of him being more passive support, there's one thing to consider: when he's in Castithan drag, he appears to be a much different person in comparison to when he's not. For example, in the scene where he talks to Christie about the Castithans, he seems to admire them and welcomed the idea of them taking over (unless I'm misremembering the scene). Yet, when it came to the destruction of New York, when they were speculating that it may have been the Votanis Collective, he seemed a bit worried about such a take over (this was prior to the confirmation about the destruction of one of the Votanis Collective's main area, Brazil I think it was).

Plus, by having your character leave the club, he'd still be in Castithan drag if and when he goes looking for you (and naturally, he would assume that one of our characters got to you and took you out of the club). And if he were still in Castithan drag and admired them so much, I think he'd consider trying out the typical "dominant" side of the higher caste Casti personality to see what it's like, which would account for why he wouldn't be afraid to show himself in front of Chase (and Chase doesn't know anything about the Votan Drag Club, as it wasn't in existence during his one year stay in Defiance, let alone who he is). Of course, if you feel that this is still out of the question, I'll remove him from the scene and just have the assassins do all the dirty work, setting up the trap to draw in Vo, Taffer and Ms. Sinn.

For Pottinger, it may seem like something he would do, but the problem is that him going after Chase for beating him at several rounds of poker seems a little out of character for him. I mean, I'd get him possibly stalking Chase on his own accord (similar to how he apparently stalked Connor Lang, as its been suggested from the EGO implant episode). Unless I'm completely wrong about his character.

Coming to think about it, am I wrong about both characters? Have I misinterpreted them somehow and not realize it?

I think that there is a lot of room for interpretation for both characters as it was their first season. I'm anxious to see what you do with Mercado now (in a good way)

I think the carrier idea works, but also remember that Rose already kicked Mercado's *** (literally I think) earlier that evening, after Belle just left. Sinn may have to advise u as to both, because both actions were by Rose, as I read it, but I could have read it wrong.

near the end of Day 2 the carryer was moved. befor i met up with rose i kiced the viceroy in the head :P and left him spralled out in an allyway

i think chase reads all the post then forgets when hes makeing his lol what was said in the post befor :P but its ok, pinkys with vo and taffer on day 2s night and no one knoes where chase is. he kind of got left behind... we will wait for him to catch up though

ok so . its sunday. im going to asume that ebvery one works on monday. so sometime between monday and next sunday lets try and set up a time all 4 of us can be online and play at the same time.

for me im open every day from 6am to the next day at well 6 am PST im 2 or so hours behind belle and somewhere like 12 behind taffer and if i recall chase is east coast so hes 3 hours ahead of me

so lets see. if its 11AM here its 1AM with belle and 2 AM with chase and 11PM with taffer ? i think i got that right. wow we are going to be haveing fun trying to figure out a time frame.

taffers on at night my time so that means its the AMs for him when its the PMS for me and its the PMS for chase and belle also so we would have to find a night time that we could do it. so for me im open we just need to work around every one elses times i want to get us all together and just have over all fun maybe do a death march with just the 4 of us. or see how many people we can drag into a death march with us lol start at mt tam end some where in SV maybe at the trion worlds building

At working days I'm usually available at 8PM MSK (9AM PDT, 8AM PST) to 12 AM MSK (1PM PDT, 12PM PST).
At weekends I have some more free time of course.

The big problem would be to get to gather everyone at the same shard in game. Player search works only over a single shard AFAIK. So someone with big friend list or in a large clan (do the clan member list even display at which shard people are?) will have to jump-to-friend from shard to shard to contact everyone else.
