It seems to happen around 7 o'clockish every night. I play just fine most of the day then around 7ish I get kicked so much it's basically pointless to play. It also seems to happen more when trying to play with even one other person in my Clan or Group...
I know I just commented and don't want to sound really annoying but this is crap. I bought this game almost 3 months ago and was having the same issue then. I just recently finished watching the show and though I'd try to get back into the game and not only is it still doing it but from what I've read on this thread it's basically been doing it since Day 1 and Trion just doesn't care. Talk about some big time "Shtako". :-P I was seriously a button press away from buying the add-ons today before I thought maybe I should check it out again first. Guess I'll count myself lucky I'm not out more than the $10 for the original purchase. I'll continue to check in and see if any changes have been made but for now I think I'll spend my money on Minecraft. Just came to the PSN and I've never played it before so maybe I'll have better luck with that. lol Once again I apologize for my little rant here I just needed to get it off my chest and it seems like most of you guys can relate a bit. Quitting and restarting the game should fix the logging back in issue. Any time I get booted I don't even bother trying to log immediately back in anymore. I always quit the game and restart it.Originally Posted by Darksideblues42
It most certianly always has been a wide spread issue for PS3. It's become atrocious and the worst I've seen it since launch after the DLC. We can watch it pass through our clan first one guy then the next and another .... We all get back on then after a while first guy gets booted and so on.
Same here, constant disconnects. In my experience, every time you play for a longer time (usually after an hour, sometimes even less) the minute I want to join something in which loading is done (be it entering an arkfall, joining shadow war, dying and having to ress somewhere further away, etc.) I know I will get a disconnect.
Also, same in my experience: It is faster to quit the game and then start it up again (PS3) then to try and reconnect.
Very annoying, and unbelievable that Trion is doing NOTHING to solve this!!
My clan and I also experience the constant time outs and hard freezes. We have learned to live with it, either that or we spend our entire day writhing bug reports to a company that obviously is to oblivious or to stupid to figure it out.
In my option, Trion is failing miserably to live up to expectations, they will Most likely lose a vast majority of it's player base to upcoming game releases.
Here's what I got even after doing all of their troubleshooting both on my playstation speed and my router.

[01:28:10 PM] GM : I don't think that would be necessary. I just wanted to make sure that your files had not somehow been corrupted and doing that reinstall would have fixed that if it was the case.
yet there hasnt been a new patch in almost a month....
gm had me do a ping and trace from my end as soon as I dc from arkbreak sent them the info as requested now they've escalated the ticket
I don't think they know how to fix it (ignorant incompetence).
Maybe they think if they ignore it, it will just 'go away'.
Three weeks after THIS ticket (never mind all the ones 6 months earlier) was escalated, and it's as bad as ever.
I just read all of this to see if I was ready to go down the tech support rabbit hole, but now I just feel completely demotivated.
I've uninstalled it from my PS3; I loved playing Defiance since beta, but at this point it's just embarrassing how consistently frequent the disconnects have been since then.
