Kill-Stealing?
Don't project your inadequacies on me.
If I stole your kill, you were obviously too slow.

I think the 10% kill bonus has been misintrepreted. I think that only applies to a regular kill, and the "Cappoint Defense Kills" and "Rescue Kills" are actually much larger bonuses than 10%. I once had a 6000+ point Rescue Kill against a viscera and have never seen anything close to that much on an assist. And I've never seen a Cappoint Defense Assist or a Rescue Assist, so I have to believe the only people that get those type of bonuses are the ones that got the killshot.
I also agree if you're holding back your firepower to try and get the final killshot then you're attempting to killsteal making you a bigger jerk than the jerkoffs glitching away at the crystals with their invisible swords.
Don't see any reason why someone should feel compelled to stop at 20k either. Isn't progressing through as many stages as possible part of the designed goals of the siege?
the problem is that everyone at a siege attacks one volge. soo if three volge troopers drop, everyone attacks the closest one and moves on together from there. THIS is why "kill stealing" is so prevalent at sieges. if instead 6 ppl split up EVENLY between the three troopers (that 2 per volge) then everyone will be happerier. in addition i think that is you finish ur 20k at a siege u should tank viserca and guide it away from the point let others deal w/ troopers and bombers, im a bit of a hypocrite on this last point b/c i regularly get 40k
Shoot it until its dead, kills are not first come first served.
OP you are not kill stealing and those that are accusing you of it are probably upset that all their hard work didn't pay off. I've had people "snag" the kill from me a number of times, its just the nature of the game. The faster the bad guys die the higher the stage levels you reach, imo I believe thats what counts.
I think kill stealing would be a moot point if they added 5 x the mobs and it was actually deadly to be there, but hey thats my opinion.
Also whats with the Vehicle players driving over everything is that just trolls or really bored players?
Not everyones in America i'm fighting kills with a 300+ ping time and i don't complain, just saying its not skill slowing some down.
I gave up on the shooting and just go all out heal - I've cracked the top three spots (and 20K in particular) a lot quicker and easier than shooting.
I'd be compelled to continue far passed 20k, if the score system was set up so that those who do the most damage get the most points for kills. As it is now, I stop at 20-25k, so that others will have a better chance at reaching 20k. The more people with 20k score, the more chances of great legendaries, which we are lacking.\
Make a volge's health directly linked to how much score a person gets. If one person drops it down to half and another player drops it down the other half for the kill, let both players get the same points. If one does 75% damage, and the other does 25% and gets the kill, let the one that did 75% damage get more points. So on and so forth. Also, give players an incentive to get top of the scoreboard, such as the top 1 or 3 players have a much more increased chance of getting a legendary. Right now anyone who gets 20k has the same chance as someone that gets 60k. Finally, give a reason to work for those higher stages. Maybe after stage 10, increase the legendary pull chance even more with each following stage. Still keep it so that players have to hit 20k though for a chance at one.
It depends on how many people are there. There appear to be hardcaps for heal assists (975 for Volge Viscera Elite) so you need a certain volume to ensure breaking 20k. If you're at a San Francisco Arkfall with just a handfull of high scoring players you're chances are better with kills and normal assists.
First.. Yes, volge sieges are very easy, and the kill stealing wouldn't even be argued over if mobs were increased.
Second.. Idk about other players, but when I have 2 or 3 elites coming at me, I'll pop my car out and ram into them. It does some fine damage and staggers them, which gives me time for my respark regen to kick in, and if I need more time I just throw out my decoy.
Third.. That's true. Not everyone has the best connection speed or whatever, and this game isn't really built off of skill. I know because I have no skill, yet 95% of the time I'm in the top 3 of any siege, arkfall, darkfall, and very often get 1st in co-op maps and challenges, playing them as they're meant to be played, and because I often get 3 to 5 times as many kills as I do deaths in PvP.
