I just saw someone in the red Ironman outfit but before I could get his name to ask him... he was gone and it was definitely RED on my screen because the first thing that popped into my head was "Hey! It's Ironman!" and the fact that the suit looked very much like Ironman's.

Yes, seen quite a lot of red suits the last few days. How about it devs? Are you fixing it or are the people who enter the game now actually getting what we should have gotten at release?

There are a few working theories on this as of now.

1. Trion screwed up and gave out the wrong textured armor for everyone who pre-ordered or purchased the CE before or shortly after launch. "Supposedly" they are working on fixing this. *This seems to be the most relevant theory. Don't count on a fix any time soon if this is the case*

2. Physical CEs and Ultimate Editions, as well as Digital CEs and Deluxe Editions have different textures for their respective Ark Infiltrator armors. *IMHO bogus claim made by an apologist. This theory is right in line with the "working as intended" excuse*

3. The brown digital camo Ark Infiltrator armor was a timed release item, and cannot be redeemed at this point. Only the red armor can be claimed from now on. *Another bogus apologetic claim IMHO, see #2*

Regardless of which issue is actually the truth, I feel like I got shafted on a unique armor set. EVERYONE is running around in the brown digital camo heavy trooper suit from Scrapworks, which is nearly identical to the Ark Infiltrator save for a back plate addition and the helmet. I would like my Iron Man suit as promised please.

No theories necessary, really. They said earlier in the week that they fixed the issue on the backend preventing the correct armor from being distributed, but the fix can only help new accounts. They're still working on a fix for old accounts and have no ETA.

I still stand by my post. Everyone has an "explanation", or thinks they do anyway. These are just the top theories floating around out there. Just because Trion says it's working on a fix doesn't mean they won't go back on it and say something like #2 or #3 above. I'd also like to point out that with the current state of the game and the prevalence of bugs, fixing something that seems like a minor inconvenience such as an armor re-texture will be at the bottom of the priority list. They already have our money. Why strive to deliver what was promised or waste time at this point?

We fixed the issue on the back end for new users and are working on getting everyone who has the wrong outfit the right one now. It has taken longer than we wanted it to, but it is happening.
