Trion you did not fix the damage resistance exploit

This shouldn't be a surprise to anyone. Some of us had been pointing out repeatedly that this was exactly what was going to happen with the damage reduction perk mechanics overhaul, i.e. the players using the actual exploits would not only continue to have an unfair advantage but the disparity between them and non-cheating players would be even greater since non-exploiting players would no longer be able to use the completely legitimate pre-patch mechanic of stacking perk effects while fighting the cheaters.

Today I saw one of the 2 players who constantly use the exploit in PvP and his damage resistance was still almost Zero. He had 3 guys shooting at him and he was taking almost no damage. I even turned on overcharge and still his health was not moving.

If you ever catch it on a stream or video, please send it my way. Until then, I'll get this to the team - but the more examples we have, the better it will be for them.

Not for nothing and I don't think Twitch Reflex would lie but are we just going by one persons statement here? As long as I played this game I never saw a player where their life wouldint budge and not go down when hit. Ive seen hacked shields, but haven't for awhile. Seen permanently invisible players that don't take damage, you just see a muzzle flash moving around. A lot though and most often I see a couple of players who have full auto Disruptors, lol you know who you are if you two are reading. And beyond that just your everyday slew of chronic cloak users who exploit the hell out of that through means the game provides, but...never have I seen an invariable player outside of the whole being permanently invisible and invincible thing-a-majig, which I think is just a glitch that happens with cloak and the players that it happens to are not even aware on how it happened.

Played PVP for about 3 days. So many times I had a dude nailed to the door....and he rolled.....only to come up with full health and shields....I quit. And I really wanted that shiny whatever armor. I think I wanted it. Well, not so much anymore.

Edit: I got the video thanks to Notturno http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OdgeyZ6-4Ng The amount of defensive perks he runs and shield dont add up to the damage resistance he gets. This is an exploit. I think it might have to do with (take less damage while reloading) staying active even when they are not reloading.

I can explain that. The Disruptor's firing sound is bugged. All of them sound fully auto to other players. I used to confuse the Disruptor with the SAW from the sound when friends would use it and they'd be like "No it's burst fire." until I found one I liked and to them it sounded like it was fully auto.

What you have to do is post it on other sites where, though Trion employees go, they do not have the marginalization tools to suppress the information. Once they're embarrassed and receive enough bad publicity, then they take action. Its pretty simple really.
