    Best Perk to Replace Thick-Skinned?

I've been using the Fortitude, Regeneration and Thick-Skinned combo w/ Regenerator shields ever since that guy posted the thread way back when pointing out how great this combination is.

Now that Trion has broken thick-skinned, what should I use in it's place? I haven't played PvP since I maxed all of those pursuits so, I'm mainly interested in what would be helpful in PvE.

Personally I just go with regeneration and... well, that's it. I used to use regenerator shields, but then I got a respark berzerk EX (+10% RoF when shield is down) that is just too good to not use. Regeneration makes a big difference for PvE survivability, but I find that other resistance perks are just not worth it. I'd rather use perks that let me kill stuff faster.

There is no replacement. The perk is what it is.

Cellular Armor is the only one I can think of besides going to the opposite direction and stacking damage perks.

I believe the idea of perks was to give us minor individual bonuses. The idea here is that no player can become OP (skill over gear). As usual, people looked to maximize things and stacking was born.

My Point: All stacking will be eliminated over time, and the reason they haven't done it already is because too much change too soon will scare away too much of the player base. They'll wait for the remaining players to acclimate, and change things slowly over time.
Aliens exist! It's true! I see them in stores stocking shelves, making pizzas, etc. Yesterday I called a restaurant that delivered, and one of them brought me food. Still don't believe me? Maybe you know them by their more common name: Illegal Aliens.

    * [Emphasis mine.]

** You're implying that players crafted 'stacking' from raw materials somehow and then inserted it into gameplay.

Unless we have access to code, that aint possible.

If we did have access to the code, I'd warrant there are a dozen people playing the game who could/would have written chat and inventory systems that worked, instead.

*** I think they're less waiting for "the remaining players to acclimate" and more waiting for the veteran players who know the game to just get fed up and go the jekk away already, and stop causing the new pools of eager ducklings to wonder what they missed.

*** ' * You use the term 'remaining' in such a way as to make apparent that TRION knows/expects it's bleeding players, and that this is all akin to some sort of Medieval Times bloodletting ritual to purge the evil humors from the game before the real good stuff can be grafted in....
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

I don't like that thick-skinned is now broken.
I do like that damage resistance no longer stacks.
Use cellular armor in place of thick-skinned till it's fixed.
Use cover because humans and aliens are not invincible Godly entities.
They are blood and squishy flesh that can die if you run them around like chickens without heads.

I still think it's by design.

Break the good defensive perks for a week or so.

When they're fixed, everyone's forgotten all about stacking.
