That and the perk that reduces explosive blast radius, as well as cellular armor... Before I could throw a grenade at my feet and be left with a few bars of health, now I hit the floor before a *flop* follows... Hell, even my breaker cannon just went wonky and does literally no damage unless I remove all defense perks... Honestly, I thought the defense perk stacking was reasonable and a working system. I could care less for PvP, but did it occure to Trion that some of us stack defense perks in PvE to survive?

I know when I removed thick skin from my loadout my character immediately died in place, and I have not been able to get a revive since. Guess I will have to start a new character now, dang.

I agree with the difficulty. I've always said this game is too easy, even with white loadouts. But a cover system? Just no. It needs no cover system. But yes content is scarce. And we should have raids that require at least 10 people. Although we will soon be getting our faces chewed off by the warmaster, there needs to be a lot more like dlc 2 has. More raid bosses/levels etc.

So..Elastic...you think the fighting system in this game is good? It's horrible! Anytime you can run out in an open area and take out 10 enemies before they kill you....thats lame as hell. In GTAO, if you don't fight smart and take cover when it's needed, you will die in a heartbeat, especially on hard level(co-ops). This game absolutely needs enemies that make you take cover and fight smart. The Volge can make you do that, but they are easy once you figure them out. The AI in this game won't even climb a ladder for pete's sake! The AI is horrible and the combat system is terrible too.

Oh Sh*t, I think I just realised because my cannon has 10% health refresh on reload that screws with the new system... How the f**k did someone in Trion get a brain fart and think this crap up without thinking of collateral damage... ?

You can take cover behind any inanimate object using crouch or hide behide stuff. It's what its there for. Plus this isn't GTA5 so why even try to compare it. If this was a GTA game then the comparison would be justified. Its not gears of war either. Its defiance. Its a 3rd person shoot em up mmo. Made by Trionsworld. Not Rockstar. Sorry. You want GTA gameplay and mechanics? Then play GTA. No offence in this post mate. Just in my opinion comparing two completely different games is like comparing a zoo to a chocolate eclair.
