So I'm a fairly new player. I'm about 780ish ego. I was just curious if trion deals with their support tickets anymore or if I'm screwed in recovering my account. I googled the issue before I made this post and did what they all advised to do, which was mostly making sure you didn't switch over to a different region. I checked NA and Europe servers a couple of times to make sure, there is no arrow pointing left or right, my account is just gone. It even gives me a code to link up my xbox again which I already did the first time I got on there.
So does trion do anything about this? The game is fairly enjoyable otherwise. Was a budget bought of course, but if you can handle the repetition of most missions its enjoyable. I'm surprised it isn't as laggy as I'd imagine it would be considering how many people show up to those ark falls. Somewhat don't understand some aspects of it. Like what is money for? Doesn't seem to have any use. Vendors don't really switch up gear, it seems static other then the hourly deals. Its a bit frustrating to get a decent gun only to find out there is no point to use it once you've mastered it for you won't get any xp towards the given weapon class.
Finding groups for Co op maps is kind of difficult. Its a shame you just can't solo them. All in all its enjoyable, but if characters just end up deleted what would be the point? I found it hard to an extent to get to 780 ego. Most of the pursuits are done by people and its a tad discouraging that I'll never be able to do some of the best ones since this late in the game doesn't seem possible. Like reviving people in major ark falls, who dies in those? I've only seen like 3 people go down.
I've only done about 40 mins of pvp so really can't say anything on that. I sniped and landed a few hits, but most of the time I'm dead by infectors or those dudes using blur with shotguns, I think its fun once you get the right type of build for it I imagine.
Well regardless of the loss character/account if anyone is on the fence to get this I say get it. Its fun and you're not going to lose much on trying it out. I imagine once you get like 1.5k ego or what have you it would start to get old, since a lot of the missions are repetitive. But the pursuit to raise your ego is somewhat addicting. I'm not sure if I'll start a new character or not, but at the moment I am leaning towards doing so. Which end of the day speaks volumes of the games ability to hook you in at the start at least.
