Paradise Mercs -a casual clan/player hub; No requirements -NA server-

Not to be mean or anything but I think this clan died awhile ago. It seemed like overnight it jumped to 40+ members and then with the founder and leaders inactive, and only 2 recruiters whose ability to do so were bugged it kind of went dead. Back in Feb I think most everyone left because of the inability to recruit. I know most of the ones I played with are in different clans now.

It's sad to see people still trying to get into a clan that probably doesn't exist anymore. If there are still any active clan members left please say something to these people. But as far as I knew of the 2 recruiters left in the clan, both went to different clans. Don't mean to be pessimistic but it's just sad to me.

THanks for the heads up. Know of any clan that is active?

I was one of the two active officers that were on, and one of the last members to jump ship. Most the members from Paradise have been inactive from 30 days - 3 months or more. The founder went AWOL, officers had their recruiting ability bugged, and like most clans - people just all went dark. Though it happened surprisingly fast. But without the ability to recruit, and the flood of bug submissions given the usual run around, I think it was doomed to die a slow death.

I'm still active every night, and just joined a new clan that has a dozen or so new players. Clan chat is constantly going with questions, and people are grouping up nightly for co-ops, arkfalls, and incursions which is nice. All I can say is that it's nice to be in a clan, helping people that actually WANT to group up. Plus, since they are mostly new, they are eager to ask questions, and eager to advance. So there's a few on every night. Granted the clan I'm in was just started a few days ago, but has a dozen already. Their enthusiasm has me logging on nightly. That, and I really enjoy running co-ops, recorder hunts, and doing the dailies, and weekly stuff with a group. So if you're having some issues maybe finding a group of new players can get the two of you motivated into playing again. Just a suggestion.

There are some active clans around, but the biggest probably I had was that I hated being in a clan, and still feeling like I was playing alone. To me, there's no point being in a clan when none of them want to group up, or tackle pursuits. Any who I wish you good luck, and hope to see you around in Defiance.

On a side note, regarding paradise mercs. I know the two active officers have gone to other clans. Which leaves only the founder with the ability to promote or recruit, and he hasn't been on since December. I know Ejamon was trying to be polite about it, but I have to agree that it's sad to see people trying be recruited in a long dead clan. I know he was also giving the opportunity for anyone still playing that is in it, a chance to respond as well. I still have them all on my friend's list, and all I can tell you guys is that 99% of them have been offline for months. So if you're waiting to be recruited, I'm sorry to say it doesn't look good. When I left, there were only 5 members remaining, and that was some months ago. Sorry for the bad news, and I hope you all find a good, socially active clan to participate in. Good luck to you all.
